Christ, I am sooo bored with making comforting noises to peopel who think I want excruciationg detail about their sleeping/sniffing/vomitting/medication patterns.

I don't fucking care! Not one jot.

I have also resolved never to speak of health issues, even if my left leg is dropping off.

Take note please.

Completely agree with you, have health issue myself ATM, friends want to know how it's going etc and i HATE TALKING ABOUT IT. Is nice they're concerned but find it most boring subject on earth.

Thank you moondog, let's have a nice conversation completely unrelated to any health issues.

letsblowthistacostand · 22/03/2010 22:59

New reality show with complete nutters in a house together in New Jersey. Guess I'm the only one watching.

BelleDeChocolateFluffyBunny · 22/03/2010 23:00

Do you work for the NHS moondog?

moondog · 22/03/2010 23:01

Yes Belle but this is more to do with friends and acquaintances.
Ah, J is that thing about guidos and guidettes isn't it?

and this is why mumsnet is now boring people cant talk, debate etc without crap

ToccataAndFudge · 22/03/2010 23:08

and of course you are perfectly able to tell who is the "anxious well" and who is properly unwell just by what they say, of course ill people never underplay their problems do they

BelleDeChocolateFluffyBunny · 22/03/2010 23:09

I thought so moondog! Dito!!!

ToccataAndFudge · 22/03/2010 23:10

and of course you may notice that moondog (who used to be fairly reasonable despite her mad rants) made it clear tat it was any issues

GetOrfMoiLand · 22/03/2010 23:11

No.

Minor illness moaning I can cope with.

What is pure hell is someone who thinks that they might be pregnant, and names every single motherfucking pregnancy symptom you can think of, but refuses to do a pregnancy test.

But then sits next to me at work and harps on about the mythical pregnancy. For weeks.

And then does a pregnancy test. Which is negative. And she doesn't believe the test.

Rinse and repeat for another week.

justsue · 22/03/2010 23:12

ooo let me know how I get in the IN CROWD please do that my opinion is accepted

moondog · 22/03/2010 23:16

God, it is so naff to share results of pregnancy test with anyone but nearest and dearest.

OP posts:
GetOrfMoiLand · 22/03/2010 23:24

Naff. Yes, but mostly it is just fricking dull and boring.

She showed me a website which showed the pros and cons of each home pregnancy testing kit.

She is only 22 and not even trying for a bloody baby. And why is she telling me about it why?

Bless her but shut up and talk about something marginally more interesting like Kerry Katona's shoes or the crop rotation in the 16th century. Not pregnancy mind games.
