I dislike him intensly. It's not really anything to do with him being posh and going to posh schools, I think politicians should be well educated.

I don't trust him, I don't think he cares about anyone who hasn't got a few million in the bank, I think he's smug, I don't think he has a clue how most people live in this country, I don't like the married tax allowance idea, I don't like this "Broken Britain" horseshit, and I don't like his face.

Would it be acceptable to refer to someone else in the public eye/politics as common or chavvy?
Annoys me, all this smearing of people on irrelevancies.

Why blame him for where his parents sent him to school? As for Oxford, people I know went there and to Cambridge - makes them smart, not toffs. My fil has a double first from Cambridge - he went from a grammar.

And why do you think labour wouldn't cut those services?

And how do you think those services will be paid?

It's a real and serious issue that lots of high earners will go Ex pat / non dom to get around the stupid amounts of tax being proposed by labour. It will not work in practice.

So, if Labour win, they too will break a lot of promises.

See, the fact is, half the country can't claim benefits and expect around 5% of the population to PAY those taxes. It ain't gonna work.

His strategy might not be based on that, but I don't believe he cares about the ordinary folk, maybe I'm wrong but I just do not trust him at all.

Looking after just 5% of people WOULD be crazy wouldn't it? Surely nobody would do that.

Oh no, wait a minute, that is exactly what the Conservatives are doing with the inheritance tax plan. A tax benefit to the top 2% of the country.
