Two reasons I am pissed off at this. One is, I do think that eating something very odiferous in a confined public space is anti-social....there is no escape from it...(even healthy foods)

second, and I do know this shouldn't really come into it, but its an hour long bus journey for ds who has dyspraxia, and he has trouble with travel sickness AND is a supertaster....literally throws up in the presence of oranges being peeled and eaten. She was sitting right opposite him.

I saw how he was trying to control himself, but it was clear he wasn't going to make it. So I manage to get him off the bus, for him to throw up all overhimself, and poor wee lad has to walk 25 mins in the freezing cold without his top layer....

MDF - if you have an LPG car you pay a one off charge (£10 i think) and that is your congestion fee sorted out. I wasnt being snippy - the mere thought of having to even consider sardine packed buses on a Monday morning is enough to make me want to be sick and not to mention the BO smell euch, actually gives me shivers.

As others have suggested - a taxi i think is the way forward, then you wont ever have to have this again. A horrid start to the day.

i think your ds is lovely by the way and having lived in north london i know how packed those buses get and it must have been awful for him, next time as you leave the bus snatch the offending fruit and throw it!!
why would anyone want to eat anything that takes all that time to get bloody into!
