It's getting a bit harsh now, she may not be a great speller but at least she's looking after her daughter and cooking for her. When I was 19 I lived on a diet of wine, beer and just about any other alcohol and was the cockiest, stroppiest little nightmare around. I didn't have kids then though. Give her a break now, I think she has been initiated into the world of MN!

MaisietheMorningsideCat · 21/02/2010 14:33

Ahhh...so :P means sticking your tongue out. I wondered what it was.

Personally, I find it rather interesting that you whine about the use of DS and how we should type words out in full yet you use "coz" and seem unable to type the entire word "and", preferring to use just the letter n.

I am trying to decide who it is

overmydeadbody · 21/02/2010 14:36

Newbies.

Gotta love 'em.

And if it's jist a wind up, it's quite funny.

Wonder why she is so against acronyms but freely used n instead of and in her essay profile.

wineslurper · 21/02/2010 14:37

cligan, if you are really a newbie then welcome to Mumsnet, it's a great forum but AIBU is a judgmental bearpit (that's it's charm!) so in the same way as if you did join a new mother and baby group, i would (in the friendliest terms) suggest you say hi, then listen and learn the culture and the "rules" all social groups have before throwing advice or criticism around!

MadameDefarge · 21/02/2010 14:37

is there something, um, fishy about this?

lambanana · 21/02/2010 14:37

What's with all the :P?

GypsyMoth · 21/02/2010 14:38

You mention your 74 year old mother ???

How bloody old was she when she had you? You say on profile you don't have one.......

janeite · 21/02/2010 14:38

That poor fish gets blamed for everything: can't think why...

SirBoobAlot · 21/02/2010 14:39

Oh will you please bugger off? Am a year younger than you, and you're acting like an arrogant sod. FYI - Your "About Me" section is an essay in poor grammar and inability to spell. Ironic.

shakes head in despair

might i say troll, would that be okay, as i think we might have a troll on our hands innit, i think shes taken a break from making a full meal for her child and making sure its ready for her partner, but its okay because she doesnt have a problem with single parents, even though she thinks shes better than them for living with her partner, and wants to set a good example of teenage parents because shes read lots and LOTS of BOOKS, and is doing it exactly as the books told her too - and shes read lots of them.

overmydeadbody · 21/02/2010 14:39

Pixie my chickens are plucked lovinly by dewey eyed virgins at dawn.

notwavingjustironing · 21/02/2010 14:39

You have given me a right good laugh though, so thanks for that.

I'm not really a spiteful old bat, honest.

PS nice dog, Milly.

Off to feed DH, DS1 and DS2 rather than poncing about on here.

HTH

RustyBear · 21/02/2010 14:39

"its like im at a new mums n babys group n ive just joined n ask someone for something n they sniffd their nose at it"

No, actually, it's like you're at a new mum and babies' group and you walk in and start criticising the way it's run without bothering to find out anything about the group first. Do you really think everyone would say 'Gosh, you're right, we'll change it at once!' or would you expect the existing members to be a little pissed off with you?

ShowOfHands · 21/02/2010 14:41

Do you remember the good old days when hamsters were in stews and cutlasses in the bedroom?

And all round here was nowt but fields.

Better Trolling 101. I'm running it. From tomorrow.

MillyR · 21/02/2010 14:41

I am still hoping someone knows the French word for the colour liver.

Caitni · 21/02/2010 14:45

Oh ShowofHands that provoked such a snort of laughter from me that my baby kicked.
