...to think that a man who "doesn't drive" is not remotely sexy

I saw this on another thread (doesn't matter which) and didn't want to hijack it with my silly ramblings

but, I can't imagine being with a man who "doesn't drive" (disabilities notwithstanding)

just someone too lazy to learn, who would let their OH chauffeur them around

there is something very appealing (sexy) about a man who drives well

mind you, I have a thing about a well-shaped wrist on a man , and driving in short sleeves shows that off to perfection

am I showing my age here ?

Men that drive are well hung. Cyclists are usually lacking in the schlong department.

Tis fact you know.

dizzydixies · 30/01/2010 21:10

as you should be lockets well done Mr Locket

however I find the thought of DH doing the driving required by his job rather thrilling too - even though I shouldn't

oxocube · 30/01/2010 21:11

I can't explain why, but I'm so with Expat and others - sexist, probably, but an honest answer to the OP

AnyFucker · 30/01/2010 21:13

perhaps it is a thrill that "should not be referred to" then...

like, erm, when my DH is all sweaty after digging the lawn or summat

or wearing a pinny to cook the dinner, but minus his trousers...

summat like that ?

"Men that drive are well hung. "

oh how I wish that were true - that one man I dated that had a bloody gorgeous car was hung like a squirrel

ImSoNotTelling · 30/01/2010 21:17

ha my DH wears a uniform for work - it is a really crap one and it doens't fit properly and it isn;t for anything impressive - but I still feel a bit of pride when he is wearing it. That is a bit weird.

He even has a peaked cap with a badge on it for wearing on formal occasions (actually typing that made me snigger rather than swoon).

love? oh puhleeze!

next thing you know you'll be coming out with all this, 'i knew when i saw him i knew he was the one . . . gush' and i'm going to have to go shove a chopstick down my throat and puke up this chunky kitkat.

thelunar66 · 30/01/2010 21:19

So Smart Cars are not sexy?

I have a Smart car (pic on profile)

ImSoNotTelling · 30/01/2010 21:19

I went out with a man who drove an articulated lorry and his penis was very long but a bit on the thin side. Not full on pencil syndrome, but definitely lacking in the girth department.

HTH.

staranise · 30/01/2010 21:19

I think it's a bit strange to care whether someone else drives or not. We both drive but use the car rarely and TBH being able to drive is neither here not there.

But then, I find a man in short sleeves really really naff, particularly a short-sleeved shirt, like some sort of cheap uniform. Each to their own I guess on what we find sexy!

GibbonInARibbon · 30/01/2010 21:21

pmsl lockets

My tongue was firmly in my cheek I can assure you.

(though, do cyclists strap their down?)

ImSoNotTelling · 30/01/2010 21:21

I can drive a car and my breasts are fairly large.

Correlation?

I think so!

ToccataAndFudge · 30/01/2010 21:22

what about a man who can drive but doesn't have his OWN car (not a company car - one that he owns)

staranise · 30/01/2010 21:22

Whoops, I'msonot didn't mean to offend, I'm sure your man's uniform is not at all naff...

ImSoNotTelling · 30/01/2010 21:22

expat I can parallel park too...

AND I have nice wrists!

Who wants a date?

cory · 30/01/2010 21:22

If a man has a well toned wrist and forearm then surely he can put it to some better use than just driving a car...

expatinscotland · 30/01/2010 21:22

ooo, i love DH in short sleeves!

especially because he is milk white but what skin is exposed goes tan after it burns.

so when he wears short sleeves and moves his arms, he's very wiry, and a bit of his milky skin comes out, or the bottom of his tattoo.

phhwwooarrr.

GibbonInARibbon · 30/01/2010 21:23

Am loving the detailed description ISNT

..well was quite veiny and bent slightly to the left with not much girth tbh..rofl

I love that word 'girth' wish I had more opportunities to use it.

ImSoNotTelling · 30/01/2010 21:23

staranise not offended at all I'm enjoying rambling on.

My DH also makes use of reflective vests for work, now there's something to get the juices flowing...

Nancy66 · 30/01/2010 21:24

short sleeved office shirts aren't sexy. They remind me of Charlie from Casualty

expatinscotland · 30/01/2010 21:24

oh, girth is definitely important!

i mean, the gears and shift stick have to work together .

MumtoEliane · 30/01/2010 21:25

What if they can drive but cycle too? How do they have it??

My DP can drive and does it well, but he avoids it when he can, because of parking, jams, etc, adn so he only has a Clio. He uses his motorbike or bicicle when possible.

I think motorbikes are reaaaally sexy, but you might get more than one surprise when helmet is removed

AnyFucker · 30/01/2010 21:25

ohhh, save us from the thin dicks !!!!

staranise...precisely

I think the short-sleeved shirt turn-off thing is a peculiarity of MN, have never heard this anywhere else

my DH wears a short sleeve shirt, in summer, when it is warm....I never thought of it as wrong 'til I came on MN (he is a hot-blooded male who drives sexily...what can I say ...)

ya see, I think people who think there is something "not right" about short-sleeved shirts are BU

my 10yo ds wears short-sleeved shirts...is that wrong too ?
