for DS even though I am a sahm?

I don't think there will be a place available for him until he's 12 month, and by then, I hope to be just or very nearly pregnant with no. 2, so I figure I will need the rest. Is this a bit much to ask though?

BelleDame - sorry meant to come back to this and forgot after rather nice dinner and Silent Witness

I take your point. I probably was a bit sensitive - in RL I've had a bit of "I'm a SAHM as I don't think mums should work as it's detrimental to them. Oh but my kids do go to nursery/grandparents a few days a week to give me a break" which I think is a bit hypocritical as I don't see how it is really much different to being a PT WOHM. And of course your comment seemed a bit similar to that, although I don't know you so shouldn't have made the assumption you were the same as the RL people I've come across. So apologies for jumping in!

Meg, I was probably a bit OTT in my response as well (it's that time of the month) so apologies if I was a bit brusque.

I think we probably all do the best we can and those SAHMs who were passing hypocritical judgement could possibly try a bit of empathy with their coffee in the mornings! It makes hard work even harder when we're judged so harshly by other mothers, I think.

And, wasn't Silent Witness gripping and scary?
