Or not?

Well that was a most interesting test run for research purposes. Now, if only I could leave this cursed cellar, we could begin to rescue distressed gentlewomen. Perhaps a tatting sweatshop might also be in order?

and as she is now, happily pampleteering

Hullygully · 31/01/2010 10:27

The years have been more than unkind and sadly bear out that bluestockingery is hockingly ageing. Fie upon pamphlets.

And not just the hocks..

How fortuitous! The door is unlocked.

Now where couldst they all be? I wager that Widow is not busy drawing up a business plan, she is a cunning minxy sort of fox, and if the Princessa is at hand...I fear the worst.

I am, ahem, surveying the outbuildings, to determine the best locations for the holistic tatting and macrame seminars. And the Sheikh is helping me, for he has much experience in, ahem, surveying.

which thread...we'll all go and join in..Love a bit of disdain..

PrincessFiorimonde · 31/01/2010 14:24

Hully, don't bother, it was about football , so guess I deserved it. Where are all the playmates today? Not doing real things???

PrincessFiorimonde · 31/01/2010 14:26

Football so hard to perfect in a crinoline and with a deformed foot.

(Actually, I do limp in RL; you must be psychic.)

Hullygully · 31/01/2010 14:39

I don't know - imagine people having lives..I do have one (defensive) just keep sneaking away from it. Going ot look for footballing thread. See, that'll teach you to desert us and try and make other friends. Disdain is your reward.

Umami · 31/01/2010 14:43

(I am here. DS has a cold and is nursing constantly so I am glued to the sofa. I'd rather have dp's disdain than her friendship!)

Hullygully · 31/01/2010 14:46

Oh yes, seen it. DP. She doesn't count, she's a complete loon. Once when particularly incensed by her racism and homphobia, I told her to fuck off, and that she could take that fuck off as standing each and every time we inhabited the same thread. Hard or what?

(Well wishing for baby Umami)

'ello ladies...
Only here for a moment but wanted to wave in Royal styleee.

Princess Fliffy - thank you for your gallantry, whoever you are .

My dad used to say that to be offended by one whos views you respect is mortifying. Otherwise it is either a circumstance of little concern or very occasionally, a compliment.

DS2 has had the most hideous weekend and we are reeling a little so I cannot even manage a character change this afternoon.
But it is all calming down now, and I think I have a strategy [hopeful] so I shall return ready to swoon soon.

[snogs]

Just on a point of information, you do not need fat in a diet. Ask the millions of vegans around the world.

Hullygully · 31/01/2010 19:55

do your blood pressure a favour, and walk away
