Oh and we would be Hully dear...I'd have to take to my bed! Where are you going? And also at the thought of a holiday.

CheerfulYank · 12/02/2010 18:20

Am also, rather.

Hullygully · 12/02/2010 18:26

Off to Greece. Forecast is rain, so that'll be nice. Might have to take Abers out of the case and fill it with raincoats and brollies.

How thoughtful, Hully, to save us the worry and expense of search parties. But Greece!!

PrincessFiorimonde · 12/02/2010 19:32

Cheerful - just had a peek at your Sam too. Not just cute-looking, but also a cute sort of 'I'm interested in what's happening' expression as well.

Like his Ma?

Hullygully · 12/02/2010 19:33

Oh the joy of hols! we are moving on Mon,over the shop as it were. Downsizing from a two bed, to a one bed, but actually it is much better proportioned, and means I can run up and down from the cafe and actually see my son from time to time...

I feel I am repeating myself!

Cafe is so very nearly there....money pot is tiny, jobs to do enormous...why did I ever think this was a good idea?

And to cap it all had to call in pest control, because lovely Polish Damian, builder, was enjoying his midday sarnie and was joined by an over-friendly rat....

I think they bonded.

GibbonInARibbon · 12/02/2010 20:35

Have a fabulous holiday Hully!

Ohhhh Mimi it's all getting exciting for you! how wonderful

Hullygully · 12/02/2010 20:39

Ver ver exciting Mimi...it will all be lovely, it's always darkest before the dawn and all that...

Thanks for holiday wishes - it's carnival so there may be rain and strikes, but there will be dancing....

GibbonInARibbon · 12/02/2010 20:43

Much wine and song...bliss

Umami · 12/02/2010 21:15

Ah, Greece, how lovely! Do try to ensure the children play backgammon under shady trees with peasants, won't you? Also, please bring back some shipping magnates for the rest of us (no troll magnates).

GibbonInARibbon · 15/02/2010 09:28

Hope the move goes well today mimi!

And how is everyone else on this bright yet frosty morning?

pagwatch · 15/02/2010 09:31

ahh good morning sweet gibbon

I am well and hearty but surrounded by these many strange urchins who will require much attention (and perchance a solid welping in due course).

I have many cupcakes to ice and elctrical magical shows to attend, filled with dancingfrogs and many a princess , apparently.

And in truth. I must also to my bed to weep for our dear Hully having to endure all those Greeks slaveboys alone

GibbonInARibbon · 15/02/2010 09:36

Ahhh it sounds like you have a fun filled week ahead Pag darling!

I could kill for a cupcake now, it would go perfectly with the tea I have just made. Must you tease me so?

I am off soon to pick DD up, she stayed with my parents last night as DH and I went out for a lovely meal.

I'll wager Hully will have those slaveboys whipped into shape is no time

pagwatch · 15/02/2010 09:39

ahhh ... how romantic!

GibbonInARibbon · 15/02/2010 09:50

Yes, was lovely. I may have looked 5 months pregnant going in but I must have looked 8 months coming out the amount I ate

Have a lovely day darling Pag and ice a cupcake for me ]

MadameDefarge · 15/02/2010 11:12

what does it say about me that I am refusing to disconnect the internet and am on MN while surrounded by packing cases? Still, removal man not here yet, so can't do much until he shifts some of this crap precious stuff.

I am feeling smug that I decided to move the day before my tenancy is up, so these little delays mean nothing!

GibbonInARibbon · 17/02/2010 07:54

Hope the move went well Mimi and you are having a lovely week Pag (still craving cupcakes here)

Widow and Princess, you are awfully quiet, hope you are well too and not missing Hully too much. No doubt she is having a blast downing shots, whipping Greek slaveboys into shape.

Umami · 17/02/2010 19:00

(Hello hello all! All is well here, although I am in danger of exploding if I do not stop eating, so there is a baking embargo in place).

Om shanti om and all that. It is most relaxing here at the ashram. I am feeling thoroughly cleansed and renewed, the creative juices are being restored and I am sure we will be ready for some fresh debauchery imminently. Now, what we require are some gentlemen to entertain us. Where is my Sheikh? Surely he could take some time off from his trading on the silk route to visit us here? And Abercrombie, what of he?

PrincessFiorimonde · 17/02/2010 20:55

Hi Gibbon, all well here, and hope all's going well with you. I picture you as a lovely luscious lady 5 mths pg looking alluring and dripping grapes into her mouth, (but have yet to find a pic to match this vision. Sorry! - am crap at finding links ...).

Mimi - hope your move was ok. How is the Chatsworth Cafe?

Umami- please don't explode . Am sure the sheikh will be along shortly... (or in whatever guise you want him ...)

Pag - hope you are having a lovely week...

Onwards and upwards, gels...

(Um, was that really what I meant to say ...?)

Umami · 17/02/2010 22:24

Gibbon enjoys the ayurvedic food at the ashram
Umami after baking one more batch of biscuits

GibbonInARibbon · 18/02/2010 07:32

Thank you widow, those links made me smile and I needed that this morning, feeling all worried after my scan yesterday waiting for a call this morning for an appointment with a consultant as the baby has an irregular heartbeat

Sorry to be a downer, am sure all will be fine, just want Dr to tell me so

Hope everyone else is well

(I promise to get all creative again v soon)

Umami · 18/02/2010 08:09

Oh, Gibbon, that must be so worrying for you I hope you get to see a consultant quickly.

GibbonInARibbon · 18/02/2010 08:19

Thank you Umami, sneaky hug very much appreacited

PrincessFiorimonde · 18/02/2010 11:16
