Im so pissed off that not that my partner (who he has knowen for 3 years) got an invite to the stag do do but more that he did not even think to consider that I would be upset in any way.
I know this may sound a bit odd to some poeple thinking that a stag do is just for men but I have always been one of the lads or so I thought.
I have been very good friends with a group of lads since school. We chat about every thing, so why did no he not think to ask me if I would want to come?
It maybe a 'lads' night out but that has never stopped me from going out with them all before nor been a problem.
Just cus its a 'STAG do' I dont even get a second thought!!!
When I had PND I didnt not go to him because he was a bloke.... male or female it never mattered before?

r u a troll?

CurlyhairedAssassin · 17/01/2010 22:44

OK, then, what would you say if a gay man who was really good friends with the bride and hardly knew her fiance, wanted to go on her hen night, and she wanted him there? He's not allowed to go because he's a man??

Personally, I wouldn't want to be the only girl on a lads' night out, esp a stag night, cos they'd just get on my nerves with all their daftness and drunken ramblings. Do you like that sort of thing, OP!? I think I could only handle the earlier, less-drunk part of a stag do - like the go-karting or quad-biking bit!!

daisychainXX · 17/01/2010 22:45

im not a ladette!
Im a very much a lady, I just only got on with lads at school.
I took a fashion degree because I find the female body very sexy. Im a petrol head with a motor bike.
Thank you very much CurlyhairedAssassin glad that some one can see my point of veiw.

Not sure I should have wasted my time responding. "I took a fashion degree because I find the female body very sexy". That's just a plain wierd comment.......

troll or not a troll?

Well, whether you are or not I've been surprised at the old-fashioned attitudes on here about the "rules" of stag and hen nights. And there I was thinking Mumsnetters were such a progressive bunch.

EcoMouse · 17/01/2010 22:49

Long and short of it is, you can't stamp your feet and throw a tantrum because you haven't been invited to someones party.

Well you can but will look a right petulant twit if over the age of five.

It is not about you!

paisleyleaf · 17/01/2010 22:52

CurlyhairedAssassin, I don't think it's about being gay/straight ....it's about being invited
It's up to your bride.

I know a lot of men who find the female body sexy who don't even have a fashion degree.

I bet you ain't invited to the hen night

because you ain't a "girl's girl" are ya

daisychainXX · 17/01/2010 22:59

I just wanted a second thought but clearly that is to much to ask of your friends when it comes to tradtion and weddings?

If it tradtion then we must all stick to it!

( in anwser to a message before: No Im not going to the hen do. It is not my place to go she has own friends to go out with... I cant say I know her to well.)

I'm not sticking to tradtion, it's tradjic

daisychainXX · 17/01/2010 23:09

all I ment by the fashion degree was that im not a lady in boys clothes all day, and if i had put i had put i think womens bodies are very sexy it would have been taken the wrong way to. ( it was not the point about a degree as i didnt complete it)
just forget the degree bit I just wanted to get piont across that I would not care if they had a stripper I just wanted a second thought

Maybe not caring if they have a stripper isn't the same as enjoying a stripper.

PoppityPing · 17/01/2010 23:11

Perhaps you should reflect on his reasons. I would probably come to the conclusion that this is the first occasion he has been able to legitimately not invite you. You are probably annoying.

Or, if you talk like you type it's probaly just a misunderstanding.....

when you are "out with the lads" do you talk a lot about women's bodies being sexy ?

and do you randomly snog other women and get your tits out "for the lads" ?

I know you, or at least I know the type

I can guarantee the bride-to-be and most of her mates have blacklisted you

sorry, love, you are not trying hard enough

PoppityPing · 17/01/2010 23:16

Ma'am

daisychainXX · 17/01/2010 23:16

i have not fucked him kissed him or any of the lads!!!! how dare you!!!!
why can you not see that some one can have a female can have male friends.
