Parent advisory sticker covers the word Lesbian - can't remember the exact wording on it but it says something along the line that is is obscured because of inappropriate references or something.

So the word Lesbian is viewed as something intrinsically inappropriate but the words Vampire and Killer are OK for young eyes, then.

I find this offensive - as someone who has 2 gay women in the family one of which is my mum, and a daughter who was badly bullied last year, in the main being called a lesbian slut by a group of girls at school, I think it's startling that this word is viewed as offensive.

I was just completely bewlidered. I thouht that the sticker was just coincidentally over lesbian, however when I looked through the rack the sticker obscured the L word on all of them.

Could someone have felt that it was inappropriate in a family environment to state that lesbians were vampire killers, and would rather it said 'Vampire Killers' rather than 'Lesbian Killers' or 'Lesbian Vampire'? Might even be a lesbian sticking the stickers on herself?
