for a fortnight at Christmas and for them to have come back having gained a huge new Abercrombie & Fitch wardrobe and 4kgs apiece?

Georgimama - only local elections and European Parliamentary Elections (latter if you register that you are voting here and not in 'home' country). Not national elections (unless Irish). sorry for hijack but probably preferable to Bonsoir starting yet another circle about exemplary parenting in separation/calorie content of croissants, whilst ignoring absolutely everything said to her.

ilovemydogandmrobama · 07/01/2010 13:39

Unless one is Irish, and can vote in UK elections.

bellissima · 07/01/2010 13:39

Ah yes - Bonsoir sorry - must confess that as an Belgian/Brit in Paris you would be able to answer that one!

scottishmummy · 07/01/2010 13:40

if dp has no issues with ex-wife why does he threaten her "he will probably need to wave that threat in front of her in the near future to get her to toe the line a bit..."

threats are initiated to gain leverage and exert unreasonable control.your dp is provocatively being a bully to ex-wife

Georgimama · 07/01/2010 13:40

You're right, just found it on the electoral commission website.

No law against you campaigning though!

TheBossofMe · 07/01/2010 13:40

You've made some about me in the past, so, yes, I'm sure! As for the self-defence comment, IME you spend a lot of time attacking before being forced to defend when people react to your attacks.

Bonsoir · 07/01/2010 13:41

bellissima - are you completely deranged? What is this Belgian business? Why is it interesting to attack other posters' lives and attack them on your own fabrication?

OP posts:
Bonsoir · 07/01/2010 13:42

Which posters have I attacked gratuitously on this thread?!

OP posts:
Feierabend · 07/01/2010 13:45

Errrrm... Bonsoir were you going to answer my question about what problem the French have with their education system? Sorry if off topic but I am truly curious...

Piffle · 07/01/2010 13:45

I am sharing far too many similarities with Bonsoir for my own (tenuous grip on) sanity to survive...
I have a teenager.
He has A & F clothes (de rigeur in teendom apparently.
He weighs the same as me
He gained 4 kgs since 5th of December
While he was with his vegetarian father and vegan step mum and carnivorous younger half brother (2y)

However I am at pains to point out that I am glad he gained the 4kgs as he lost 5 with the november swine flu business.

And he appears to me to be a stringbean, I am actually quite flattered that he weighs the same as me.
If it were not for the fact he is a foot taller that is

HerBeatitude · 07/01/2010 13:46

Are you deranged? How DARE you accuse Anna of being Belgian?

Bonsoir · 07/01/2010 13:47

Feierabend - I was going to suggest that you look at some old threads in Living Overseas or Bilingualism. There have been quite a few discussions about French education before now. And other education systems. I don't have the energy to start another though!

OP posts:
scottishmummy · 07/01/2010 13:48

anna, why are posters saying you said dp has affairs.does he?

violethill · 07/01/2010 13:48

Have a good fry up - that'll give you some energy

Bonsoir · 07/01/2010 13:50

scottishmummy - I have no idea other than it is just one of the myriad silly fabrications that have emerged on this thread - posters seem to be vying to outdo each other with fabricated misinformation about me, you included! Since there are also posters who know me and my family in RL, I am not the only one giggling about this!

OP posts:
scottishmummy · 07/01/2010 13:52

fair enough.just wondered

bellissima · 07/01/2010 13:52

Er sorry Bonsoir - I have seen some personal attacks against you on here and I don't like them - honestly - and I see that some have been deleted. I really don't think that I have been attacking you. If you disagree with my profile of you then simply tell us the correct one. But you seem to ignore any direct questions, preferring to get back to the evil croissants and time you have to spend parenting (rather than being on here). How have I "attacked your life" other than saying, like others, that you have a bit of a weight obsession, that in regard to your DSSs it has, I believe, something to do with family self-image and also feelings towards the exW and your own insecurities as an immigrant in Paris. I stand by that and don't regard them as any personal attack. I think that you have been far meaner about the exW. If I have read your profile correctly (again please contradict me if I'm wrong and tell the truth) the exW is the authentic Jewish mother of your DPs sons and yet you seek to denigrate the diet and food relationship she has with her sons - something which I happen to know is important to her culture and is nasty to attack.

violethill · 07/01/2010 13:52

Giggling? We've all been rolling in the aisles

Ingles2 · 07/01/2010 13:52

Anna... where are you from originally?
and which school/uni did you go to?

TheBossofMe · 07/01/2010 13:53

I didn't say you've done it on this thread. I said you have done it on threads.

Bonsoir · 07/01/2010 13:53

I must say that any poster who fabricates misinformation about me immediately drops to zero in my esteem and obviously I can never read anything they write and take it seriously again. What kind of sad person would do this?

OP posts:
traceybath · 07/01/2010 13:53

Scottishmummy - I believe someone got the wrong end of the stick - something said on another thread and then chinese whispers galore.

I do think a lot of posters seem to have it in for Bonsoir and have made a lot of extremely malicious comments but I can see that Bosnoir can handle it.

This thread is like the moldies thread of the big freeze (as opposed to xmas 08) - please tell me its not going to spill into another thread once we reach 1000 posts.

bellissima · 07/01/2010 13:55

And 'those who know you in RL' might be giggling but they sure aint rushing in to support you. As I say, if we make mistakes Bonsoir, simply tell the truth and correct us.

traceybath · 07/01/2010 13:55

Gosh - why all this interrogation of Bonsoir.

Why should she tell people what school she went to - honestly have people gone snow crazy?

TheBossofMe · 07/01/2010 13:56

I think Anna is best taken with a liberal dose of humour, myself! She's pretty hilarious and livens up my day no end!
