To hate blue Christmas lights?

Ok not the end of the world, but they are everywhere this year.

Ok - they are elegant/ pretty etc. But they are NOT Christmassy. Christmas is about warm colours - reds/ golds/ greens/ yellows etc. When it's cold, drab and drizzly, the warm colours brighten the place.

The blue lights just seem so cold and yuk. Snow Queen and cold, not Christmas!!

I don't like the entire lot to be blue, but I have blue bulbs on my multicoloured tree lights

I have blue on my multicoloured lights as well - not keen but not the end of the world. But blue everywhere?!

YABU - my tree lights are blue. In fact, my whole colour scheme has been changed this year to try to imitate a type of narnia/snow queen ice white and blue theme.

Red and gold, pah, that's just soooooo 1990's darlink.

I love those pale blue twinkly icicle lights that shops and houses have outside, they're pretty so yabu.

White lights only for me. Not blue, and not the very harsh bright white ones either. Just the nice warm twinkly yellowish white ones.

But other people can have what they like

The first house in our street is all cold blue lights. I hate looking at it when I arrive home from work. Makes me feel cold. Makes their house look cold and uninviting.

I bought lovely new lights last year, thinking they were clear. I got them on thee, threw the switch and i got.... flashing blue lights - its like having all 3 emergency services turn up at once in my hall.

yanbu at all! i HATE them, i bore dh about the fact yr after yr. they are cold, not stylish and yuck yuck yuck! i much preferred the old tacky ones in the high st before and the lovely white lights they used to have all over the high st trees.
in fact it makes me feel quite ANGRY!!!!

No they can't. Blue lights are horrid. When I'm World Dictator it will eb white lights only.

Dp and I can't stand them...looks like the emergency services are permanently in the streets over the park from us. Thank goodness our neighbours have good taste.

YABU. I have blue lights on my tree but then my theme this year is blue, white, & silver.

I have white lights in my window.

They do seem to have gone blue mad since LED. I don't like them either.
