to think Octomum is bloody amazing!

I thought she came over so well in the C4 prog. Her kids are healthy and beautiful. The nasty stuff bandied round about her is disgusting.

I have completely changed my attitude since watching the programme. AIBU!

Amazing patience. I can barely cope with 2! Having 8 all wailing at once whilst you try to feed them would do my head in. And what about when they all get ill at the same time, nightmare!

I think the older kids did seem to be suffering a bit - judging by their behaviour, but she seems to be doing pretty well really.

Really? I thought she was insane. I have 3 including DT's and I don't understand her motives in having 8 more.

The older ones looked tramautised.

last i saw she went to court and was told all the money they make must go to them.

I think she came across ok. I don't understand why she had 14 but hey it's done. I do wonder how much attention each kid gets though?!

But she didn't want 14. She wanted one possibly two more. Now trying to make the best of a crap situation that she wouldn't have chosen, no different to an awful lot of people in the world. Credit to her, she is doing the best she can.

I thought she was brilliant.

I'm not talking about her judgement of having repeated IVF, and putting 6 embryoes back, whats done is done and the fact is she now has 14 kids and IMO she is doing famtastically!

They all loved healthy, happy, loved and she has buckets of patience.

5 times she had IVF with the doctor putting 5 embyoes back in,

4 times only 1 grew and the other time 2.

So Im 100% sure she was expecting a singleton or at most twins.

I don't think she planned on having 8 as some publicity/money grabbing thing.

I like her.

She wants more!! IMO yes she manages well and must have the patience of a saint, but i think that she was incredibly (sp)selfish for having these babies when she has 6 others that need her, including a child that has a disability! The doctor who performed this treatment on her to enable her to have these babies should be struck off and never work again, totally irresponsible in my opinion. They are here now and she just has to get on with it i guess.

I thought she was amazing too. She is dedicating every waking moment to those kids.

Not once did she lose it with the kids, even when hit in the face with a screwdriver.

Not once did she moan about not having enough sleep or free time.

I know she may be different off camera but anyhow... how many of us can say that eh?

I ahve 2 children and feel I have my hands full, can't imagine 14

So kids who scream 'fuck you' and 'you bitch' and throw a screwdriver at their mothers face, because she is video taping them AGAIN and 8 babies who cry CONSTANTLY not to mention the screaming rows with her mother in front of the children - that's all OK ? And 8 babies having 10 MINUTES 'quality time' with mummy every day ?
Whilst I respect the fact that she still seems reasonably sane, those poor poor babies

She talks the talk but the reality is pretty grim emotionally for those children in my opinion.

i thought it said that the ivf doctor has now been struck off. he went against californian law by inserting so many eggs.

she has nannies to help,so presumably they will be around for illnesses too. and she says she takes two at a time for ten minutes of quality time. its the older ones who need that time really.

be a great show if 'supernanny' went in...that older boy who threw the screwdriver really needs to be disciplined more effectively!!

loved that table too!!

Slartybartfast - the decision was overturned and she now has fianacial control of all the money that they make.
