..to really take a dislike people who I only know as paragraphs on a webpage??

I've namechanged for this, and won't name any of the MNetters that I'm referring to (so please don't either!). BUT, do you ever find the same MNetters on threads you are commenting on - and they always disagree with what you think??

This seems to happen to me alot and I find myself really disliking them, which is ridiculous. Sat here on my computer, they aren't even real people, just paragraphs of text on the screen so how can I dislike them so much??!

Am I the only one that gets this? Or are there more of you out there that are just as irrational as me?

I've never experienced canned cheese

mollyroger · 25/08/2009 19:56

cheesey-peas-licious....

PacificDogwood · 25/08/2009 19:56

I cannot tell you all how enjoyable interesting I have found this thread .

What is normal anyway? It is a word my mother uses quite a lot to differentiate between "them" and "us" in any context .

I am the only one who comes on MN for:

  1. Information
  2. A laugh
  3. Other's perspective on something.

If it gets rude/personal/hurtful hide the thread if you are that bothered. If you enjoy a bit of a bun fight controversy, you just dive right in!!

On the subject of Mooncups, well, you are all lentil weaving loons

PaulDacresCrackWhore · 25/08/2009 19:57

I made cheesy peas once, as a joke, for some friends. Was actually rather yummy.

mollyroger · 25/08/2009 19:58

compared to some on MN, being a lentil-weaving loon is high praise indeed

scottishmummy · 25/08/2009 19:59

squeezy cheese, canned onions, tinned burgers all gastronomic no-no in a tin

fuck sake who cant chop an onion?how is opening a can easier than chopping an onion

PaulDacresCrackWhore · 25/08/2009 20:00

I tried weaving lentils once, but my organically reared naturopathic DS couldn't resist eating the loom.

Morloth · 25/08/2009 20:01

Also, you can hold the can up to your nose and pretend that it is snot shooting out (just like that movie with Tom Hanks).

Or spray directly into your mouth. Excellent.

In Australia you can get canned chocolate mousse and if you get a can of that and the spray cream - you can make a cocktail of happy right into your mouth.

Mooncups are the work of the devil.

mollyroger · 25/08/2009 20:03

breakfast? IN a tin? ohhhh yesssss

PacificDogwood · 25/08/2009 20:03

Does having no periods for, oh, let me think 7 years due to pregnancy/BFing count towards my Green Points??

I do think it is a great shame if people feeling fragile get lambasted, but on the other had it is true that AIBU board is a bullpit and all bets are off

Mumcentreplus · 25/08/2009 20:04

tinned anything kinda makes me worry apart from peaches/pineapple

mollyroger · 25/08/2009 20:05

I adore tinned peaches. So much nicer and less disappointing than real peaches,. Which are, often, cunting.

scottishmummy · 25/08/2009 20:17

tinned breakfast, omg a coronary in a tin.how could i have over looked it as travesty of food.but i know someone loves it
