I'm 5"11 and a half (sooo...6 feet then, really). I don't find short people annoying. I find them small, yes. Annoying? No.

I'm 4'11 and the best part of it is that I ALWAYS have legroom. Unlike the tall people whose legs seem to need two seats' worth of space on buses.

As for high shelves, I've been known to climb on the freezer in Sainsbury's before if no-one's around to reach something down for me.

Small men can be quite annoying of you're a tall female. But that's a whole other story.
