It may be weird - but not as weird as the thought of people popping in from 'another place' to get some attention then going away again! The "fings aren't what they used to be" threads appear at such regular intervals that the only explanation I can think of is that there are those who can't bear the idea of being forgotten.

There aren't as many of those "who is your favourite..." threads, with great long lists of mnetter names that never included mine so naturally I was always a bit miffed by that.

As for the troll, well, as per usual I'm the one looking around going "what? where? whosit?" While the action goes on behind me.

So nothing changes there.

ive migrated over from another forum...been lurking on the special needs bit for a while due to DS and someone who migrated with me said this was much nicer and not censored!

im still learning my way around on MN....its set up is a bit different to the other forum i go on that shall remain nameless but i said hugz hun it might give you a clue....

Welcome Vic. The Moldie thing was 6 months ago and we have all moved on, except Seeker.

If you hit search for around last Christmas you will find approximately 20,000 posts about it (no exaggeration). You will spend hours reading before concluding it was all a storm in a teacup.

pickyvic don't worry about your overuse of the !, there are quite a few of us here that do exactly the same and I like to use , used to use quite a bit too until I used on a thread that it could have meant something else!!
