i should write to them and ask what's with all the yellow ones. i bet they'll send you some free

Haribosmummy · 03/06/2009 21:25

How disappointing.

I don't like the yellow ones much either.

Complain to the manufacturers and they will send you 10,000 more packets.

catok · 03/06/2009 21:27

No, you are not! Send them back (if you can cope with not eating them) and ask for quality and variety testing to be more stringent.
You'll possibly be offered a lot more jelly babies than you had to start with!
My son would go spare if there were no red or black ones!!

pavlovthecat · 03/06/2009 21:29

My DD would have been very happy - she loves the yellow ones.

I would send them straight back and say you cannot buy another packet unless you have reassurances of no more serious errors such as this, and that you want to be compensated in some manner - ie girlandboy's plan of lots more packets. As long as they are not all yellow either!

YANBU. Its is wrong.

LOL at morningpaper

That would be a complete travesty for me, I live for the black, red and pink ones, orange at a push...yellow????

At least it wasn't almost completely made up of the green ones though

Lizzylou · 03/06/2009 21:32

Gah, at my slow typing

Suralan, blame him

janeite · 03/06/2009 21:32

I wish they sold jelly babies in packets of single colours. I only like the green and yellow ones. One of the worst feelings in the world is to open the packet and find that they are nearly all red and black - barf.

fishie · 03/06/2009 21:33

do they taste different according to colour? do smarties? (i do not like sweeties)

wrinklytum · 03/06/2009 21:33

No black ones? They are my favourite.I would be gutted.

morningpaper · 03/06/2009 21:35

janetite you FREAK

red and black are the best

SparklyGothKat · 03/06/2009 21:35

I like orange, and red ones.. complain and they will send you 1,000,000,000 jellybabies

knickers0nmahead · 03/06/2009 21:35

Ring or email them. Seriously, they will send you a voucher for some more! Yellow are yucky, but i still eat them!

lambanana · 03/06/2009 21:36

I was the same when sports mixture substituted black liquorice ones for yacky purple blackcurrant ones!

A confectionery travesty!

Sounds marvellous. Was the other one green? If so, send it over in my direction. You can have my red ones.

janeite · 03/06/2009 21:38

Moondog - maybe we could set up some sort of jelly baby exchange system?

janeite · 03/06/2009 21:39

ooh ooh I had a solid chocolate KitKat once too. I was 17 and at a cricket match and it actually made cricket exciting for the first and only time for me.

Thunderduck · 03/06/2009 21:39

Blackcurrant Sports Mixture are great. Far superior to the nasty liquorice.

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 03/06/2009 21:41

shineon - that happened to me quite recently. I was gutted as I really like kitkat

That is awful about the jelly babies - I might have actually cried.

Paolosgirl · 03/06/2009 21:41

Noooooo - green ones are the worst. Black are best, then red, then yellow, then orange then green. EVERYONE knows that!

Def. complain - it's a breach of your human rights, I'm sure of it.

janeite · 03/06/2009 21:43

Green
Yellow
Orange

Black and red go to the dds.
