MIFLAW.. ok, ok, maybe Le Pen nearly becoming president was pushing it a bit...but rolf @ eddie the eagle

No the hate preacher use the internet to reach out with their poison, Anyone with half a brain cell knows these idiots are just that idiots, the thing is I know people who will vote BNP because they are sick of being told they have no right to express their opinion.

I went with a friend to a gay pride march, it was a blast, but you don't get a straight pride march do you? It would be called homophobic, one of my friends is stopped routinely by the police for stop and search because he is Jamaican and because of where he lives, I ask him why it does not piss him off and he said because most of the crime where he is is committed by young black men and he is a young (ish) black man so he knows he will be stopped, he has nothing to hide and is glad the police are looking to take knifes off the streets, I have a white friend who is stopped as much and gets really pissed off with it, It is how the individual sees the thing, and for me to tell my black friend he should be upset and incensed that he is stopped would be like saying " I know better then you how you should feel" it is just another form of white supremacy really when we tell other races, genders, and so on how they should feel, it is a very white middle class, guardian reading mind set and a little bit of racism by stealth.

JoPie · 28/05/2009 18:21

Honey, everydays a straight pride march

Thunderduck · 28/05/2009 18:34

Precisely Jopie. You don't need a march when you are the dominant majority.
When your sexuality isn't an issue in the workplace or out in public.
When no one bats an eyelid when you hold hands with your partner. When people don't attack you because you're straight.
When people want to deny you the right to become a parent.
When people don't want to deny you the right to marry the person that you love.
When people don't use your sexuality as an insult.

daftpunk · 28/05/2009 18:46

jopie..thunderduck...are you gay?

Thunderduck · 28/05/2009 18:49

No I'm straight. My dp is bi though.

Are you straight?

Thunderduck · 28/05/2009 18:50

What's the relevancy of that question anyway dp?

daftpunk · 28/05/2009 18:51

oh yeah..100%...

how do you handle the bi situation..?

Thunderduck · 28/05/2009 18:52

What do you mean how do I handle it? What's there to handle?

daftpunk · 28/05/2009 18:54

go easy on me here...ok.

does he have a boyfriend?

Thunderduck · 28/05/2009 18:55

Why would he have a boyfriend when he's my partner?

Does your dp have another girlfriend?

daftpunk · 28/05/2009 18:58

no he doesn't... (not that he's told me anyway)...but your dp is interested in men aswell as women...

Yes he is. But I still don't see your point.

He's no more likely to be unfaithful to me than a heterosexual partner. Actually my partner before dp was straight and did cheat on me.

Your dp likes women. Does that mean he wants to sleep with all of them?

You amuse me greatly dp.

daftpunk · 28/05/2009 19:09

ok..my dh wouldn't know the difference between me and you..but he'd know the difference between me and a man..

Thunderduck · 28/05/2009 19:11

You are quite clearly bonkers dp.

Thunderduck · 28/05/2009 19:12

Actually if you really want to know.I'd love a threesome with dp and a friend of his, but dp said he isn't comfortable with it and would prefer to not become involved with anyone else, in any way, while he's in a relationship.

thunderduck...i asked you to go easy on me..i don't know much about this ok....what i'm asking you is.....if your dp likes men...how does he satisfy those urges?

Thunderduck · 28/05/2009 19:19

I don't see why I should go easy on you. Your views are straight out of the medieval ages.
I do pity such ignorance though so I will try to be polite.

He barely has time to think about those urges as we spend so much time shagging.

Seriously though being bi doesn't mean he feels the need for sex with a male all the time.
It means he's happy to be with either sex, doesn't mean he needs to be with both at the same time. And don't worry he's getting plenty of sex. He's extremely satisfied, and often.

daftpunk · 28/05/2009 19:20

lol reality....i've got no doubts about that.....you'd kill him
