FFS do people really think that the BNP are a credible political party? I read the crap excuse for a manifesto that was pushed through my door and couldn't believe that they are trying to get my vote with such non-existent policies. They are anti-immigration and racist. That is it. They have no idea about how to run an economy, deal with defence, ensure that the education system and NHS don't grind to a complete halt. They are small minded bigots who (in an echo of times past) think that they can blame immigrants for all the wrongs of this country. The parting shot was that all BNP MEPs would donate 10% of their salary to fund community based St George's day events. Well that's just fantastic - bring on the cheese rolling and morris dancers and lets all be happy that we dont have to think about anyone else but ourselves. They make me sick, the lot of them.
I do however think they are entitled to broadcast/share of the media ... if for no other reason than for people to see them as the ridiculous wankers they are.

ILoveTiffany, I have the utmost respect for the GURKHAS and I believe they SHOULD stay in this country. That debate went on far too long. They deserve to stay in the country they so bravely fought for.

I actually voted BNP as a protest. Of course BNP could not run the country. I voted purely on immigration.

and what about all the other nationalities settled here and their descendants (born here) who also fought for this nation during WW2 and in other conflicts? How do people make the judgement when they see people in the street whether they are 'worthy' or not? By what criteria? Skin colour? whether they wear 'traditional' clothing or speak their own language? It's just utter nonsense and is totally unworkable.

Luvoneson- I've just read the BNP's take on family Law on this thread and frankly it horrifies me, whilst I can accept that you have opinions on the immigration policies of the present government, and to some extent I don't believe they have it right either.

Do you realise FULLY what you are voting for with a vote for these complete homophobic misogynists??? Have you read around the subject rather than just voting for something that appeals to the "we shouldn't have to pay for this" instinct??

browntrout, whats all this about people in the street and WW2. I'm talking about the here and now. Border control, having more checks on people,they are the ones who should be checking who is worthy or not. We should be more like Australia. They dont take any old tom dick or harry and do you blame them. They can see what a dumping ground this country has become.

Apparently Churchill's grandson was objecting to BNP quoting Winston. The cheek of it! Claiming the man who led the country in a war against fascism as a supporter of the BNP stance... utter madness.

LoonyBNPvoterlady, how can you claim to respect the Ghurkas when you vote BNP? Your party would sling them out. Along with half of all the doctors and nurses in the country...

Luvoneson, but current immigration is not what the BNP believe, it isn't about a points based system for entry, it is about removal of people who have lived here for years.
If the BNP had their policies in force there would be no way the Gurkhas would be allowed to stay.

I don't believe you should ever vote for such a contravercial party without researching it properly.

PS - 'luvoneson' I came to this country to study. Paid thousands of pounds for the 'privilege'. Held down four part-time jobs and worked my a* off. Paid emergency tax for over five years. Did not and still do not claim one single social security or other benefit. I do a fantastic job for my employer, pay my taxes and contribute a hell of a lot to this country.

AIBU to ask for some respect for who I am and what I have made of myself and not have to put up with racists who would rather I was not married to a white man and have a mixed race baby?

For a start you don't appear to know that 'illegals' will be UNABLE TO CLAIM ANY BENEFITS as they ARE NOT DECLARING THEIR PRESENCE. You are making this too easy through your ignorance.

Not only do the BNP hate anyone who isn't white, they hate women too you know.

Anyway, guess I'd better pack my bags as I am the Granddaughter of an Irish immigrant who came over here and took a British job and British council house. How very dare I I stay here!
