To actually quite like Jeremy Kyle?

So I don't really watch his show but am currently being treated to a repeat on ITV2. The title is 'Jeremy Kyle confronts knife crime' and whilst he is a bit smug and annoying, I actually quite like him. And the programme is really informative.

That's it really...

Maury Povich? I loved that show and remember watching it when i was younger at my dads house, he had sky. Havent seen it in years but remember he was a legend.

Yes, Maury P. He of the 7x returning paternity testers. He never gets mad with his guests á la Jez though. But they do all the work for him. Lots of throwing themselves on the ground and screaming their heads off. I always like "I am one thouuuuuuuuusand per cent certain that Dave is the father". Or maybe not.

yeah, I like them too. It usually then turns out not to be Dave's brother's, or cousin's either. Then they claim, 2"but there was no-one else."

Sorry to hijack the kyle thread with a rival trash talk show host, but Trikken - it's the ones where the dad wants to be the dad that break my heart. No enjoyment in that.

I looooove Jeremy Kyle show but it's my little dirty secret. I like it when he asks 'how are you going to support the baby' to the dad. 16yr old dad shrugs, says 'dunno'. jk shouts in the face of course 'GET OFF YOUR LAZY BACKSIDE AND GET TO WORK THEN'. Fab!!

Whenever I'm feeling down, I always watch it and it makes me feel 10 times better about my own life!!!

I bloody LOVE Jeremy Kyle but only because it makes me feel smug about MY life.

This is not because I have a fabulous life. Thats is why JK is so great. You can have a CRAP life and still feel superior.

I make DS1 watch it and tell him 'SEE you will end up with a slapper like that if you dont keep it in your pants!'

If DH and I ever have a row debate about something, we usually end up grinning, and say: 'what would jeremy Kyle think?' ...and I daresay inside we secretly both think: 'he'd shout in your face that you are being very unreasonable.'! But it's a definite debate-defuser for us

I get JK - he gets paid tons for doing what he does...what I don't get is the guests! who...why...wtf?

I hate the guy. He's so smug and he always thinks he's so smart when he's laying into some poor bloke who probably had a crap childhood and who has an IQ of about 70.
He likes playing the white night to silly damsels in distress who should have known better and slayer of thick neanderthal blokes.

I quite like the show. I think he can be a bit OTT sometimes and I sometimes think maybe it's all just a big fix anyway. Surely half the stuff on there can't be 100% true? Can it?

It makes me laugh when they show the clips of the 'after-care team' and Graham gets all this hype about being so good, nd they show a clip of him talking to a couple who I assume are having issues and he says something like "just stop arguing"

hello shootfromthehip. YANBU. I too am a secret JK fan. Nothing better after 2hrs of screaming and shouting getting DD's off to school and nursery than coming home, putting my feet up with a nice cup of tea and a cheese and mushroom pitta bread and watching other people screaming and shouting about far more juicy things than whether they have got their shoes on or not. Mornings wouldn't be the same without him!

I love Jeremy Kyle, I think he's amazing, I think his show is fab. It's scrote watching at it's best. Some of our local no-goods have been on it. Cracks me up watching petty drug dealers wibbling about who did or didn't father his eighth child be his tenth girlfriend etc etc. Luvvin it, luvvin it.
