Really angry that the postman delivered a BNP election leaflet this morning

He handed it to us with the rest of our post (included a parcel so he rang the bell). Why is this racist cr*p allowed to be delivered with the post? Obviousy they're too spineless to put their hatred through people's letterboxes themselves. Am thinking of complaining to the post office.

has someone mentioned yet to post the BNP Lleaflet back to the BNP?

It is ADMAIL so free for you and the BNP pays for the cost of postage.

that is my plan.

MrsMerryHenry · 19/05/2009 22:18

Yes to foxy - I ripped mine up and so posted it and sent it back in the post today.

Mwa ha ha harrr.

foxytocin · 19/05/2009 22:22

oooh goody. will look for extra bumpf to put in large envelope. have huge yr 11 coursework paper recycling box in classroom.

georgiemum · 20/05/2009 10:08

I haven't had mine yet...

fizzpops · 20/05/2009 10:12

I hate this kind of thing and don't usually read it as it makes me so angry with no-one on my doorstep to rant at, but my Dad would argue that we need to know what people like this are arguing, if we all turn our backs and refuse to keep an eye on them they will only get worse.

AnarchyAunt · 20/05/2009 10:15

Ours came yesterday.

I looked on the leaked list of BNP members and found that there is one on my street, so I ripped the leaflet up, put it in an envelope, wrote his name on it, and posted it through his letterbox

AnarchyAunt · 20/05/2009 10:17

The list is here if anyone else fancies returning it to their friendly local member.

SarahL2 · 20/05/2009 10:30

I got one this morning too.

Had just ripped it up and thrown it away but returning it with my own message added is appealing more and more

SarahL2 · 20/05/2009 10:38

Ha ha - one of the members in our area is Mr XXX Boak!

Certainly makes me Boak!!

Frasersmum123 · 20/05/2009 13:15

I got one today too and its going straight in the recycle bin!

Di have a quick look though and those people im sure are fakes! I am sure I have seen that Dr in some other brochure or literature!

pipsy76 · 20/05/2009 13:19

What I found ludicrous is the doctor slating the effect of immigration on this country, has the BNP visited a NHS hospital recently, the NHS would be stuffed without all the skilled immigrant labour we lure from other countries.

WednesdaysChild · 20/05/2009 13:32

Just got mine and want to send it back to them with some equaly offensive message.

Do I have to put a stamp on it? If I don't, will they have to pay for it?

twinmam · 20/05/2009 13:36

No don't put a stamp on it Wednesday and they will have to pay for postage. I think it was a freepost address but either way they will pay. Feels good to be taking away from their funds, even a tiny amount. Maybe if we all do that then next time they won't be able to afford to pay all those models to pretend to be Drs etc.... Almost laughable if it wasn't so sinister

smee · 20/05/2009 13:50

Had mine yesterday and was ranting, but had a mate staying who told me something that might make you smile. The picture of the Spitfire on the front is from a squadron with Polish pilots. tee hee

Thunderduck · 20/05/2009 13:58

As much as I detest the BNP I can't say I agree with the member's addresses being published. I find that rather disturbing actually.

twinmam · 20/05/2009 14:02

That's brilliant Smee! I wish I'd known that when I returned the leaflet to them as would have taken great delight in pointing that out!

WednesdaysChild · 20/05/2009 14:05

Right then help me out, feeling a bit inadequate in finding the right level of legally offensive message to send with it....

What should I write/send?

smee · 20/05/2009 14:11

Don't be offensive Wednesdays, be rational and reasoned, short and sweet is most definitely more effective imo.

WednesdaysChild · 20/05/2009 14:14

I find it offensive, my DS (very good at reading) picket it up! They could at least have sent it in a plain brown envelope!

WednesdaysChild · 20/05/2009 14:15

picked not picket!

InmyheadIminParis · 20/05/2009 15:24

The BNP had a stall at our local Saturday market. Not selling anything, just handing out leaflets and campaigning. I found this pretty offensive, but didn't know what to do.

Should I have gone up to 'register my disapproval'? Should I write to the town council / market licence holder to complain? They are a 'bona fide' political party - do I have a leg to stand on?

Any ideas / thoughts / advice for me in case they're back next Saturday. I hate the fact that against all my instincts I ended up just walking on by.

MrsMerryHenry · 20/05/2009 16:29

Inmyhead, why don't you ask them whether they've all had genetic testing to prove their ethnicity? I think many of them would get a genetic shock...!

Rhubarb · 20/05/2009 16:38

This is what one BNP candidate thinks of rape. That women should enjoy it.

The BNP are so much more than just racism, if you dig even deeper into their politics and beliefs you'll find lots of unsavoury secrets. Many people vote for the BNP as a protest vote, others are misguided enough to believe their claims that they are not racist, just sticking up for the British people, but the above article is the true face of the BNP, the stuff they don't really want you to know.

He sounds like a woman abuser. Could the government bring back execution for such special cases as his?
