Mentalist....

OldLadyKnowsNothing · 03/05/2009 21:23

Fumble, a joint claim was never submitted. Perhaps he couldn't be arsed? And I ask AGAIN, why shouldn't he pay towards bills, his own food, his own daughter...?

DorisIsAPinkDragon · 03/05/2009 21:25

Fumble you really are quite mad please leave grumpy alone she has had enough to deal with this weekend already,

As far as we are aware she was left out of pocket by declaring the EX to be living with her -

as I said before unless you can shed any further light????

You really do hae a bee in your bonnet about something so just spit it out and then we can all move on back to support Grumpy who has IMHO made the best of a difficult situation and put HER CHILDREN first!

caramelwaffle · 03/05/2009 21:25

Hmmmm.

Perhaps the twat having to move back in with his wife has messed up HER (and his?) plans for her to be claiming to be single - and therefore receiving Housing Benefit/Council tax benefit/single parent tax credits etc etc
(and having their mortgage paid by the Government/us mugs

Just a thought. Ho hum.

fumble · 03/05/2009 21:26

If Grumpy has nothing to hide Dittany then why has she not answered the question???

People only see what they want to until they know the whole truth!

As I said I work part time my husband works hard seeing this knid of thing makes me mad i.e. someone bleating on about themselves and how bad their partner is when they are no better themselves

lizziemun · 03/05/2009 21:26

I have followed this thread from the start but haven't posted as you all have given better advice then i could give.

But i have to say that fumble is either reading a different thread or is 'hard of understanding' as my dad would say.

fumble if you have read this thread then you would have read that OP EX took the credit card out giving a different address and she only found the paperwork when clearing his junk to send back to him.

(Apologies to everyone else for shouting)

DorisIsAPinkDragon · 03/05/2009 21:28

So you know the whole truth fumble !!!

fumble · 03/05/2009 21:29

dITTANY BELIEVE ME i HAVE READ THIS THREAD AND WILL RE READ AND IF i SEE ANYTHING DIFFERENT TO WHAT i THINK IT IS THEN i WILL APOLOGISE BUT THE LACK OF REAL INFORMATION FROM gRUMPY WOULD MAKE EVEN THE MOST BACK SLAPPING PERSON THINK!

OldLadyKnowsNothing · 03/05/2009 21:33

Fumble, why can't you answer my question? There is no evidence to support your contention that Grumpy was screwing the system - if she was, she wouldn't be so damn broke, in debt to the tune of £750, would she? I think caramelwaffle has an excellent point. You are Grumpy's ex's wife and you're pissed off that he's back under your feet.

FlyMeToDunoon · 03/05/2009 21:34

Fumble if Grumpy had such a great deal going then why on earth would she want to end it?

Why does it matter what the loan was for? She knew nothing about it.

DorisIsAPinkDragon · 03/05/2009 21:34

I would doubt that Grumpy would know, as he hadn't seen fit to furnish her with the detail !!!!!!

As for was the ex's wife working it's irrelevant as they "weren't living together".

You're really not going to let this NON ISSUE go are you????

JUST TO REFOCUS!!!!
Grumpy - don't be down-hearted IMHO you have done what you needed to, to move on with your life and protect your children from spiralling debt problems related to feeding 2 extra mouths that you didn't have any funding for. Well done!!!!
