to be shocked at 20 month old sitting in a pram feeding himself a jar of baby food on a bus?

Probably Miss Judgey pants here. But surely if he's capably feeding himself with a spoon, it shouldn't be a crappy jar of baby food! And on a bus while mum talking on her mobile phone!

Guessing he was a bout 20 months as older than my ds but prob not 2. Was a bit shocked at the self feeding on the bus,and crap nature of it....

....flame away.....
I'm ready for it..

Shite shite shite

I went away to watch Heroes & Lost and missed another corker - Mizzidee again?

Justneedsleep thank you so much for starting this thread, it has been one of the funniest I have read.

Although not looking forward to the 'proof'

psychomum5 · 23/03/2009 23:01

well, we might have a loooooooooooooooooong wait.

she offered proof back at about 8ish pm!!

rude troll. I mean, you cannot just offer proof and then do the decent thing and run away

Grumpyoldcaaaaaaaa · 23/03/2009 23:04

Honestly, young people these days just will not see things through.

Tsk tsk

Northernlurker · 23/03/2009 23:07

Ok - so I see things have moved on a bit...

oopsagain · 23/03/2009 23:10

sadly, this has been done before on MN.
I remember reading about superfoetation some months ago on here.
Not going to search threads- but be my guest(S) if you gus want to.
probably the smae poster

DSM · 23/03/2009 23:10

I know, so rude.

Yes, we believe it may be Mizzidee.

In a way, its quite imaginative, really, coming up with shit like this.

'I got pregnant when I was already 8 months pregnant'
'I adpoted a newborn when I was 21'
'I have uteri'
'You are most fertile immediately after giving birth'
'I have a masters degree, in computing, yet cannot string a coherent sentence together'

maybe she should write for the national Enquirer or some such.

Yunyun · 23/03/2009 23:21

This thread freaks me out

blossomsmine · 23/03/2009 23:24

YABU, in my opinion. I probably wouldn't even have noticed. If i had noticed, i would not have given it a second thought.

Who are we to think we can comment on what another person gives their child to eat??? Ridiculous!!

Oh and i don't have a problem with fruitshoots either. Oh and i don't care if you think i am a bad mum....I'm not!

MsSpentYouth · 23/03/2009 23:27

What an enjoyable thread! It's quite difficult finding these the last couple of days - I keep reading through the "last 15 minutes"' titles - it's usually the "boring" ones that turn out the craziest! (yet because of same/multiple personality poster).

Thought this was funny (this week's meetup conversation by Tomanykidstoname:

yeh i dont mind going there iv never been in the afternoon either i would have too bring my 3 yr old ds as well as my 1 yr old ds and 11 month old dd in the afternoon

Maybe it's something new - kind of like a child-library. Maybe there are thousands, but most are out at the moment...

SalLikesCoffee · 23/03/2009 23:47

Last sentence mine obv, before I upset the, uhm, lady by putting words in her mouth.

CharCharGabor · 24/03/2009 00:01

Fabulous thread - marking my spot to wait for the truth!

DSM · 24/03/2009 00:04

God I can hardly wait for the proof tomorrow.

MsSpentYouth · 24/03/2009 00:12

It will probably be a hand drawn pic with her DC faces pritt-sticked on and scanned in

CharCharGabor · 24/03/2009 00:15

Just reread my post and it should say proof not truth I wish that would stop happening!

NotAnOtter · 24/03/2009 00:20

great name though 'tomany'

trips off the tongue

you could shorten it to 't'many'

this has been fun!

I reckon that this has made the OP feel inadequate - what a resourcefull young mum giving her child some baby food to feed himself with on the bus - wish mine had done that!! Actually of course we don't KNOW it wasn't organic, home made lentils of the purest variety - i mean, those baby food jars make the perfect containers, she probably fed the baby food to her dog and then used the jar to store her home made goodies!!

Oh hang on a minute - she fed the baby food to the dog????? Someone call the RSPCA!!!!

LEMAGAIN · 24/03/2009 08:31

ITs called coprophagia - the poo eating, i know this cos my dog used to do it [vomit], if you put pineapple chunks into their food it makes the poo taste horrible and it stops them from doing it
