To not like this new look mumsnet?

I'm all thrown by it! I'm getting too lod for change! I like the Angels icon thing - that's lovely but there are no lines any where. I feel a little faint.

Go to "customise" then click on "new mumsnet" towards the bottom of the page, it will be much easier to read.

And you'll get used to it.

And a HUGE amount of work went into it and all most people are doing is moaning.

so, on balance... YAprobablyBU

No YANBU to dislike it. We all have differing tastes and like you, I don't like it. Thank goodness RL is getting to busy for me to be here much.

OK - the one thing that is annoying me is the huge white space with the advert in so I have to scroll way down each page to find the actual conversation!

slayerette - if you customise in the way I posted earlier it will sort that out.

That was the first thing that struck me this morning, but it sorts itself out straight away after you've chosen "new mumsnet"

YANBU - after all, we don't all like change, and one of the main reasons I use MN is the ease in which I can use it. That is no longer true! Also, we were told we could keep it as it was!

i HATE the new MN - cant find topics i like anymore - its all changed

plus threads i had read used to turn pink so easy to find - now they dont

i have tried to customise it

It has just took me ages to log in and find Active Convos.
I remember when they made changes before and there was uproar! People soon settled down though and got used to it.

But why the massive margins though? What are they for?

Right, well! I am logging off for a bit to give Tech time to sort out the 'bugs'! I do appreciate that they have put time and effort into the new layout, but some people were quite happy with the way is was.

I am however extremely grateful that there are no tickers!

Hello Queen, I am pretty sure I know who you are.

I am trying to get out of my comfort zone with this new malarky. TBH, I am so hopelessly addicted to MN (and crack cocaine ) that tech could so anything and I would just grit my teeth and get through it.

I LIKE the clearer,shorter 'Talk' options at the top of the page.
I LOVE having the topics menu at the bottom of the page.

I am not finding the list of Active Convos as easy to read, they seem to merge into each other. But I will get used to it.

ooooh - and i like the purple 'post message' button!
