I'm all thrown by it! I'm getting too lod for change! I like the Angels icon thing - that's lovely but there are no lines any where. I feel a little faint.

OP posts:
mumeeee · 30/01/2009 12:39

YANBU. I am finding it very difficult to use.

oneyummymummy · 30/01/2009 12:42

I LOVE IT! It looks a lot 'newer' the old one looked old, this one has been built with 'fresh' in mind!

It will take time to adjust tho.....

cory · 30/01/2009 13:07

I would need better eyesight for this; too small and light blue is a particularly difficult colour for me to read.

noonki · 30/01/2009 13:11

I like it now, though bit like when they change the supermarket round I have to huff and puff a bit trying to get used to it.

people never like change though do they!

mummylin2495 · 30/01/2009 13:14

does anyone know how we can search posts ? i cant find it

catsmother · 30/01/2009 13:18

I don't care about the look of it, I care about the size.

I can NOT read this comfortably without peering right up at the screen (which isn't good for my eyes or my back) and yes, I had my eyes tested just 2 weeks ago so I know I don't need new glasses.

There must be loads of other users whose eyesight isn't all that ....... please please please can we have the option of larger text for those of us who are finding it physically uncomfortable to use the new look site. This isn't a whinge about the aesthetics, but about basic accessibility.

TartanPussyCat · 30/01/2009 13:21

It has wiped and is refusing to store any watched threads![grr]

WorzselMummage · 30/01/2009 13:21

I like it !

Blu · 30/01/2009 13:25

I agree about the size and readability - the thread pages are better, but the 'Active Cinvos' list is very very hard to read...the Thread titles just don't stand out! PLEASE could this be sorted? I'm not being a luddite, I do like lots of things about it.

cheshirekitty · 30/01/2009 13:26

I love the new look mumsnet. Thankyou to all the people who worked hard to achieve the new look.

kettlechip · 30/01/2009 13:34

I don't like it, makes conversations look disjointed. Am a bit change resistant though, will persevere..

GossipMonger · 30/01/2009 13:36

I might cry................

expatinscotland · 30/01/2009 13:37

Don't like it at all.

popsycal · 30/01/2009 13:39

dont like it
very veryu hard to read active conc page and threads

GentleOtter · 30/01/2009 13:40

Tech - you managed to completely change the look of Mumsnet but could not do the bunnet emoticons on Burns Night.

robinpud · 30/01/2009 13:41

I don't like it either.. I have told it to keep me as a mumsnet classic, but it doesn't seem to be doing that. It's all small and not very nice.

I do like the lack of adverts tho!

Oliveoil · 30/01/2009 13:42

WTF HAVE YOU DONE TO THE SITE???

FFS

I have some 2 bob broadband that has allowed me in to s-l-o-w-l-y surf the net, I come on here and am all at a loss

grrrrr

please make a big button at the top marked NORMAL so I can click on it when my broadband is up to speed [puts money in meter]

tia

Niftyblue · 30/01/2009 13:51

Wheres the living overseas section gone????

I feel lost can`t cope with this

GossipMonger · 30/01/2009 13:54

and you do all that work and dont even give us new emoticons!!!

ours are rubbish! we need some new ones.

basementbear · 30/01/2009 13:59

I like it ... now that I have customised it back to the old look

Stretch · 30/01/2009 14:03

I wouldn't go as far as say I like it, but now I have customiSed it, it's a bit better. PROVIDING the 'threads I'm on' reappears and we get full thread titles I suppose it will do!

jalopy · 30/01/2009 14:13

I can't seem to customise it back to the old one. How do you do it. Nothing changes when I try.

dsrplus8 · 30/01/2009 14:30

dont like this new look, can it be chnged back please- might have to join net-mums instead! (joke)

dsrplus8 · 30/01/2009 14:49

, i cant use this site, i cant customise, i cant get my head around it....boo hoo >>

PuppyMonkey · 30/01/2009 14:56

After a period of reflection and getting used to it, I am ok with it now. The only thing I really hate is the "I'm On" section... which only shows the last post. I liked it when you could have a glimpse of all the other responses too and see if it was worth u clicking back on it to follow the thread properly.

Anyway, my thoughts on the change are... fancy fixing something that wasn't broken!
