sparklesandwine · 28/01/2009 23:41

lololololololololololol

Desi thats so funny, fucking disgusting but funny

SuperBunny · 29/01/2009 00:22

Desi, I haven't laughed so much in ages

bellawella · 29/01/2009 00:23

Oh thank God. I'm normal!!

I love squeezing spots and blackheads and am never happier than when digging out an ingrowing hair with a needle. The feeling of joy when the bugger pops out is rarely surpassed. I also love squeezing DP's spots and blackheads. He says I'm like a chimp, grooming the other member of the group. I'd do DS's if he'd let me.

I rarely clean my teeth before bed but always do in the morning but if I've got time off work and don't have to go anywhere I don't bother to wash or wash my hair and wear the same clothes day after day. When I was on study leave revising for exams a couple of years back I used to look like Waynetta Slob!

I love cleaning the wax out of my ears with a hair pin and putting the results into a little pile that I then examine.

I change my bedding probably every fortnight - I just find changing the duvet cover kind of exhausting. The bottom sheet gets changed more regularly due to old pooey bum tho

I pick my toenails until they bleed although having acrylic nails has kind of stopped that. I do love a good toe nail pick though.

Dildoes - yep, got a collection. Every 2 or 3 months when I'm ovulating my hormones go bonkers I become a crazy horny woman. DP is usually working away so I binge on internet porn and use my toys. Last year when I was a bit squiffy I posted a pic of my fanjo on a naughty website! I did delete it though a few days later when I returned to normal. DP has no idea.

There is worse but don't want to get flamed.

SuperBunny · 29/01/2009 00:28

There is worse? Really?

bellawella · 29/01/2009 00:46

Erm, yes. Nothing to do with hygiene or bodily functions though. I have no regrets but I've strayed more than once and am currently straying. No one night stands though and nothing dodgy linked to that internet site. I think I love OM. I also think my guilt gene is missing.

IamLeticiaDean · 29/01/2009 08:55

Bellawella have you tried earcandles? Fascinating. I have to negoitiate wth DP if I want to squeeze his spots or blackheads.

BitOfFun · 29/01/2009 09:15

Ear-candling Noooooo!

differentmonikercozimgross · 29/01/2009 09:31

name changing because i am too embarrassed to admit any of this publically. I am NOT a troll, i am just horribly ashamed of my level of personal grossness.

I dont bath or shower for weeks sometimes.. i use cleansing wipes to get the dirt off.

i can go for two weeks without washing my hair

I rarely brush my teeth

I only shave my legs when i have to

I pick my nose, bite my nails, pull my toenails off rather than cut them, pick at the skin on my feet and around my fingers.

I havent changed my bedsheets for nearly 5 months, maybe longer.

ok. I think thats it, i'm going to shuffle away quietly now

Boobz · 29/01/2009 10:07

You haven't changed your bed sheets for nearly 5 months? That is rancid.

I once came down to use the loo in the middle of the night after a very big night out (can you see a pattern here?) and needed to wee but the loo was occupied with my flat mate. I went into the kitchen, found a discarded McDonald's drink (coke I think it was), took the lid and straw off and peed into that, and then poured it down the sink and went back to bed.

Boobz your story has reminded me of a friend (honest!) who drank an entire McDonald's milkshake at the start of a long train journey then later on found herself needing to throw up. She couldn't be bothered to get out of her seat so threw up into the empty milkshake cup...apparently it filled it neatly to the brim and looked exactly the same as it had before she drank it

Dropdeadfred · 29/01/2009 13:20

differentmoniker...if you are so ashamed why do you do all those things? why not just change your sheets, shower, wash your hair, brush your teeth?

thumbwitch · 29/01/2009 16:22

I always clean my teeth at night and very rarely in the morning - because we don't salivate as much at night so are producing less of the enzymes that keep the plaque at bay (that's my logic anyway), so brushing the nasty bugs away before sleeping is better, imo.

I never cleanse, tone or moisturise. I rarely wash my face, only when I have my weekly bath (or if I get stuff like baby food on it). I wash my hands a lot though (can't bear having dirty hands). As a result of this regime I have no spots. Whereas before, I used to have them quite a lot.

IamLeticiaDean · 29/01/2009 16:25

Interesting you say this thumbwitch. I never washed my face as a teenager and had no acne, not one single zit.

differentmonikercozimgross · 29/01/2009 17:16

No, not posh, lol.

Most of it started innocently enough. I had REALLY bad skin issues as a teenager and found soap made them worse. My aversion to washing came about because it was easier and less painful to just not bother. Even now there are only certain products i can use, the majority cause dry skin, itching, flaky scalp...etc. Even when i go through a 'clean' period of washing/showering regularly, i still wont put soap on my face, thats strictly wipes only.

The lack of teeth brushing started when i first had braces and i just never got back into the habit of doing it, but i DO regularly use mouthwash oddly enough.

The not changing the bedsheets IS gross, and i do feel really bad about that, but i loathe doing it and as i dont have a dryer, this time of year its impossible to dry sheets on the radiators with toddlers around... i'm much better at it in the summer when i can line dry.

BalloonSlayer · 29/01/2009 17:22

Thumbwitch and Leticia, I was told that the reason you must moisturise after cleansing (and not use grease-stripping cleansers) is that if the skin is unmoisturised, or stripped of its natural oils, it compensates by moisturising itself with grease, so you are more likely to get spots.

So your lack of zits may indeed be because you didn't wash your faces.

However, if you had had spots, the first piece of advice you would have been given would have been to make sure your face was scrupulously clean, which you no doubt would have taken.

skay · 29/01/2009 17:24

PMSL

And I've only read the first page.

candyfluff · 29/01/2009 17:25

its not very grotty but i read on the loo doing no.2

thumbwitch · 29/01/2009 17:25

absolutely - once you get into that whole system of cleanse and tone you MUST moisturise your poor chemically-stripped skin to help it recover. Which is why I don't bother.

The only moisturiser I find remotely effective is drinking sufficient water in the day, and getting enough sleep. A bit of exercise helps too - oxygenate the tissues etc. But water flushing the system of toxins and moisturising from within is the way to go. Soooo much cheaper too!

FairLadyRantALot · 29/01/2009 18:24

moniker...but why would you get out of the habit of brushing your teeth because you had braces?
