Not sure I can shed any light on it. My view is that BJs are a porn standard and as such men are supposed to like them. Just as many women are supposed to not like giving them - thus making them seem more saucy and therefore more desirable.

My experience is that whilst women expect men to know their way around their partners genitals, they themselves have never given much thought to what might give a man pleasure.

This is not to say that I have had a string of inconsiderate partners - can't think of any that I didn't thoroughly enjoy sex with - more that a variety of cultural influences from the women's movement through to the porn industry (unlikely bedfellows, I know) have duped us into thinking that this particular act is something special when it ain't.

Or maybe I just don't like it. Who knows?
