I am not pregnant yet, but I *am* TTC........is it ok to still park in the parent and child spaces so that I don;t where myself out and therefore can save energy for the TTCing.

Have you tried TTC in a mother and child parking bay? It may help.

thumbwitch · 16/01/2009 22:43

oh I should think so - I mean, you probably need to park in the disabled space to be even closer, and get someone to do your shopping for you - or even get one of those mobility scooters, your need is far greater than old disabled types, after all you are trying to bring a new generation into the world, they've had their turn, hey

TrollsTrollsLovelyTrolls · 16/01/2009 22:43

but yay on the use of disabled bays

twinset, what an absolutely fabulous plan!!!

EyeballsintheSky · 16/01/2009 22:44

In fact, you could probably do your ttc-ing in the P&C spaces. Loads of room, them being wider and all.

EyeballsintheSky · 16/01/2009 22:45

Bollocks. Too slow

TrollsTrollsLovelyTrolls · 16/01/2009 22:46

Wrong, wrong, just wrong

twinsetandpearls · 16/01/2009 22:49

eyeballs

naturalbornmum · 16/01/2009 22:53

Only if I can park there without my DC in the car to conserve energy to look after them.

TrollsTrollsLovelyTrolls · 16/01/2009 22:56

OMG yes....of course. it does conserve energy for having to look after the suckers darlings!

OP posts:
psychomum5 · 16/01/2009 23:18

you know, tis always better to park just outside the store on the double yellows......even less walking time!!

NoBiggy · 16/01/2009 23:35

If you're TTC you need to park in a space bearing this logo.

thumbwitch · 16/01/2009 23:41

oh very good nobiggy!

Lotster · 17/01/2009 00:08

Whilst you're at it park across two spaces.

TrollsTrollsLovelyTrolls · 17/01/2009 00:10

would parking across two while doing the TTCing ansure twins then???

OP posts:
Lotster · 17/01/2009 00:21

I think that's the wisdom, yes.

Northernlurker · 17/01/2009 00:25

Don't give it a second thought. You should be saving all your energy for ttcing not fretting about parking. Anyway you need to park near or you'll never be able to carry the huge bag of pregnancy tests back to the car!

Haribolicious · 17/01/2009 00:30

In fact why are you wasting valuable TTC time shopping?!

thumbwitch · 17/01/2009 00:30

ooh, if you are going to take the double-space parking --> twins idea to its logical conclusion then stay away from the disabled spaces...
