I am not pregnant yet, but I *am* TTC........is it ok to still park in the parent and child spaces so that I don;t where myself out and therefore can save energy for the TTCing.

Haribolicious makes a good point - you're not indulging in some weird ritual whereby you try to get up the duff in tescos and thuse secure yourself a lifetimes supply of nappies, condoms and blueberry muffins are you?

TrollsTrollsLovelyTrolls · 17/01/2009 00:34

well clearly the shopping is to ensure energy foods for mr trollstrolls!!!

OP posts:
Northernlurker · 17/01/2009 00:38

Surely Mrtrolls should be out shopping whilst you're at home with your feet in the air permitting maxium gravitational aid to Mrtrolls mini-trolls?

Do you know I'm starting to think there's something about these posts that doesn't add up.....

TrollsTrollsLovelyTrolls · 17/01/2009 00:41

and what might not be adding up then???

OP posts:
Northernlurker · 17/01/2009 00:45

Who said troll?

I didn't say troll?

TrollsTrollsLovelyTrolls · 17/01/2009 00:46

tis no namechangers on this thread.

OP posts:
Northernlurker · 17/01/2009 00:50

A namechanger??????

Where, where?

(Do you think she knows we're on to her?)

TrollsTrollsLovelyTrolls · 17/01/2009 00:53

on to her???

oh no....far too stoopid IMVHO to figure stuff like that out.....

OP posts:
Northernlurker · 17/01/2009 00:55

Ok good - well you keep her talking and I'll nip over to style and beauty and arts and crafts and round up a posse. Sure to be lots of blood thirsty gals over there!

Are you sure this isn't too much worry for you in you ttc state - you are thinking about being pregnant you know!

CuddlysBumLooksBigInThis · 17/01/2009 00:58

Ds is 9 and a half yet I still park in p&t places, if challenged I say my toddler is in the boot ffs! And?!

TrollsTrollsLovelyTrolls · 17/01/2009 00:59

@ the 'blood thirsty gals on style and beauty. as if!

they save their angst for the slack women who wear cropped jeans and ankle boots with cropped tops and headbands!!!

OP posts:
Northernlurker · 17/01/2009 01:00

I'm so annoyed - nobody will get over and help. One person tried to claim she couldn't help because her pitchfork hadn't arrived from Boden! Slacker!!!

I shall retire to be in high dudgeon. Or failing that - some cosy pjs

Northernlurker · 17/01/2009 01:01

not 'be' - 'bed'!

TrollsTrollsLovelyTrolls · 17/01/2009 01:03

well.I can only thanks all the stars that that damn sodding psycho is not about waving her axe about. was sure she would have jumped in by now!!!

but, this troll is sleepy now, and need to retire for more fun tomorrow, so I will bid a goodnoght and hope that I am not slayed in my sleep

oh my god! going too far now, exercise is good for you this is just plain stupid sorry but exercise in pregnancy is good. I cant believe I'm reading this!!You cant just be a couch potato because too much relaxing is also bad for the pregnancy, you should always do your normal day to day things, being toally lazy for the sake of 10 metres is crazy!!! I mean c'mon parent and child parking when you dont have a baby to get out of a car seat etc, sorry but no.

psychomum5 · 17/01/2009 10:06

oh babymeg, I completely agree with you. the OP sounds like a completely lazy mare!!

and what will her DC turn out like if that is their mother and example.....???

........WHAT is the world coming too also when people joke about TTCing IN said baby parking huh......

Squirdle · 17/01/2009 10:54

I thik it's alright meself. Maybe the OP could get her DP to stick her in a trolley (back part obv) and push her round? And as she is TTC she could eat as much as she likes all the way around...grapes...pre-weighed of course

Good luck with your TTCing

psychomum5 · 17/01/2009 11:02

squirdle, I am horrified at you!!!

pollywobbledoodle · 17/01/2009 11:09

could position fanjo at opening of trolley and ttc in supermarket if time is right....then raise legs over sides after

(ttct=trying to conceive in trolleys)

loobeylou · 17/01/2009 11:13

why not order online and when delivery man arrives yell out of window "just leave it all on the doorstep mate, we're busy TTC at the mo"

Northernlurker · 17/01/2009 12:02

loobeylou that's brilliant! You do always get a chance to leave special delivery instructions too - I think they mean in case you live three miles up a muddy lane but still ' Dear Tescos - please leave my shopping very quietly outside our door as dh and I are ttc right now and I don't want my eggs to be frightened. Yours with thanks Mrstrolls' Now don't ever let it be said that mumsnet isn't helpful!

TrollsTrollsLovelyTrolls · 17/01/2009 12:23

pollywobble and louby.......they are genious suggestions

OP posts:
Squirdle · 17/01/2009 14:23

Trolling uses up lots of energy too

I couldn't do it meself, I'd slip up

psychomum5 · 17/01/2009 14:43

so, who is this troll then???

Northernlurker · 17/01/2009 14:45

Isn't it you pyschomum?
