I am not pregnant yet, but I *am* TTC........is it ok to still park in the parent and child spaces so that I don;t where myself out and therefore can save energy for the TTCing.

I think I'm missing the part of my brain that makes me eat only steamed fish and wild broccoli that's roamed free in an organic enviroment.

Perhaps if I nip to Tescos and park in the P&T parking I could pick that bit up cheap? Together with the bit of your brain that allows you to change lighbulbs and a side order of financial acumen maybe?

psychomum5 · 17/01/2009 19:31

you were at the back of the same queue with me then when they were handing out all the right brain add-ons

I am still missing the part that allows me to find out how to put oil in the car

Northernlurker · 17/01/2009 19:36

I missed one physics lesson at school because I was ill. That was the lesson they were taught how to wire a plug. I've always felt missing that lesson has held me back....

psychomum5 · 17/01/2009 20:16

ah you may think so, but I actually attended that lesson, and my life has still be held back.

mainly by the knowledge that I should have retained said knowledge and didn;t!

BouncingTurtle · 17/01/2009 20:23

PMSL!
Go for it love... but yes I think you need to park in the disabled bays - don't forget to park across the line so you take up 2.

Klaw · 17/01/2009 22:13

of course it's ok, everyone uses these parking spaces, you don't have to have a child under 5 with you to actually use them

AphroditeInHerNightie · 18/01/2009 07:48

Could I please make a suggestion to raise a campaign, not only for TTC parking spaces in supermarket car-parks, but also for a 'TTC booth' or two scattered amongst the aisles (alcohol and confectionary ones spring to mind, and maybe the one selling massage oils and KY jelly!)?
You really wouldn't want to be caught short during the weekly shop when your eggs suddenly ripen!

TrollsTrollsLovelyTrolls · 18/01/2009 10:22

wanders thru thread likin all the new suggestions as to what to get away with while TTCing

Why don't you just drive round the store? That way you don't have to waste conceiving time parking and walking - just drive in, peep at anyone who gets in your way and drive off. You can be home in no time and get on with the business of TTC

psychomum5 · 18/01/2009 18:48

paolosgirl, don;t suggest that to the OP.

I hear a rumour that behind the wheel of a car she is not so great....!!!

can you imagine the carnage.

pollywobbledoodle · 18/01/2009 21:00

she has to encase her lower body in a duvet so as not to let noise vibrate her eggs under normal circs.....she really can't use a horn!

paolosgirl · 18/01/2009 21:10

LOL

Why not just drive into the shopping mall like they did on Top Gear?

I don't see why she would need to use a horn. She is ttc after all - everybody else is dust beneath her chariot wheels. Literally in this case.

No no you are being modest dear.

Grab yourselves a space in the P&T bit and DON'T LEAVE - you can bunk up in the car for as long as it takes. Months, in fact. That way if you need a pint of milk or something, erm, medically necessary, you can just send him into the shop quickly before recommencing activities.

pollywobbledoodle · 19/01/2009 11:07

LOL madamO.....will be humming that all day now
