To think that some MNers don't really need to be as bloody rude as they are!

Why are some of them so rude?

I know it takes all sorts to make a world go around but really, is there any need for some people to be like they are?

I've come to the conclusion that they must spend all their time having to be nice to people in RL and find it a real strain so come on here and rip into total strangers with impunity for a bit of light relief .

Goober, you'd be rubbish at being properly rude. You haven't got the nazzy streak required for it.

WalkingInAWonderStuffingLand · 03/01/2009 22:36

I missed the garlic thread, but I am often impressed at how sensitive people are on MN. I'm obviously hanging out on different threads. Sometimes I'm blunt but I hope i'm not rude

Personally, I find MN quite polite. I must be thick skinned .

WalkingInAWonderStuffingLand · 03/01/2009 22:37

Except for that KerryMumbles, she's bang out of order

Goober · 03/01/2009 22:37

Doodle please feel free to look me up. AKA CherryChapstick. I do get my Mrs.Angry hat on rather a lot.
Wanker!

Northernlurker · 03/01/2009 22:37

Ok found the thread - and posted on it. I must have a thick skin because I can only see one thing on there I would consider verging on rude - and even then it wouldn't dent my bubble by much. People are very robust on AIBU - you would probbaly get a gentler response in 'Relationships' say?

daftpunk · 03/01/2009 22:37

i feel genuine love on mumsnet

Desiderata · 03/01/2009 22:37

NL - was thinking that as well. AIBU tends to be for the thick (skinned).

Desiderata · 03/01/2009 22:41

Deary dear, Gunner! You're going to have to develop a thicker skin than that!

It's bad form to start another thread about it. You should have tackled it on the original one.

I've regularly far ruder than that.

2shoes · 03/01/2009 22:42

I love goober

Desiderata · 03/01/2009 22:42
