... its bound to be packed, after all, the world and his wife'll be there. What happens if we "just turn up" and there's nowhere to stay? Where does he think I'm going to give birth, in a stable?

I haven't read the whole thread but, I've just arrived in Bethlehem. Mary, it is murder here. We've came with B.A (Bethlehem Argonauts ltd) and they have lost our luggage. The hotel Ha! if that what my DH likes to call it, I call it a B&B! The landlady wants us down for breakfast at 7.30am, no organic baby food. The town is full of the great unwashed. I can see why my DH left this shit hole. If it wasn't for Caesar Augustus & his bloody taxes! We would be in Dubai now by the pool, cocktail in hand!

No news yet! But don't you hate it when you've just had a baby and you have so many vistors, when all you really want to do is sleep!

There are now three hefty blokes outside the next door stable. I am worried they are from social services. Should I do something??

The blokes have gone now. I have had a recce round the back. They're still very quiet, despite the sheep that seem to be everywhere, but it sounds like there's packing going on and I saw a holiday brochure for Egypt. I don't think she should be travelling at the moment. AIBU?

I have not had my baby yet. There are no scanning units here so I don't know when I am due. DH has set up a manger just in case, though.

We haven't planned to, no. Have heard a rumour to expect some very important visitors bearing gifts, so I guess we'll have to hang around here till then...

Is your DH a carpenter too then? It seems to be getting very popular... did you hear about this story?

He has his carpentry moments. Manger seems to be remaining upright, which has to be a start.
