... its bound to be packed, after all, the world and his wife'll be there. What happens if we "just turn up" and there's nowhere to stay? Where does he think I'm going to give birth, in a stable?

Ummm. I used contraception I swear. It wasn't me anyway, it was my mate Raphael. I'd had too much to drink. I couldn't have....No really I couldn't have. I'm sure there is an Innocent explanation.....

MaryBeWaiting · 18/12/2008 22:06

Frankincense is hypoallergenic - I'm sure i read that somewhere...

Have you booked someone to give him the snip?

Lemontart · 18/12/2008 22:09

If you got DP to film the big event, you could make a fortune in future DVD sales. Or perhaps go exclusive and cut a deal with one magazine of your choice. That way you could control the media interest and release tasteful shots of you, DP and the new babe looking all heavenly together..
I reckon this could be big news

ByThePowerOfBaileys · 18/12/2008 22:09

mary if you bring frank with you my DH will be incensed but I will be delighted and you can have the shed for an extra night

AAGabriel · 18/12/2008 22:10

I'm not a troll! I've been lurking about here for ages. Anyway trolls are ugly. And I am gorgeous as I'm sure you remember Mary You made the joke about "Redbull gives you wings" Oh I did laugh.

MaryBeWaiting · 18/12/2008 22:10

I'd prefer a room, do you reckon there are any Travelodges in Bethlehem? Perhaps I should try Expedia?

Oh, and if you decide to go with the gas and air, you may think you are hearing angels singing- don't worry about it. All perfectly normal.

MaryBeWaiting · 18/12/2008 22:11

Gorgeous? You scared the life out of me, AAG! And you were the one on the Red Bull, not me!

God, I'd crucify my DH if he hadn't booked a hotel room by now.

EbeneezerSlouch · 18/12/2008 22:14

Now I know this isn't something you are thinking of at the moment, but if you fancy a little trip after the birth, I've heard Eygpt is lovely at this time of year. How about a little all-inclusive trip to Sharm-El-Sheik?

starbear · 18/12/2008 22:15

Well, I think your DH is putting a brave face against all the rumours. But aren't you a little young to have a baby. What about Uni?

MaryMotherOfCheeses · 18/12/2008 22:15

Mary, I hope it all goes really well for you. I thought I was pregnant but it turned out to be a babybel.

MaryBeWaiting · 18/12/2008 22:15

Uni? I'm only 12!

I like the idea of a holiday in Egypt, but he can't even book a hotel room in him home town - what chance Egypt?

AAGabriel · 18/12/2008 22:18

Well at least I kept my end up that night. The same can't be said for your DH I'm afraid. My boss always says he's a bit of a gullible fool lightweight.

MaryMotherOfCheeses · 18/12/2008 22:18

Didn't I see you in Tesco last week? I hate to mention this but did you know you've got a really funny light around your head? I only mention it cos I think you need to know.

MaryMotherOfCheeses · 18/12/2008 22:19

he probably is a gullible fool but at least he can put up a set of shelves.

Turniphead1 · 18/12/2008 22:19

Mary. Your DH is BU in making you travel in the first place. He hasn't realised that you can now fill in the census online - see here www.houseofdavid.census.gov.uk - you just need your Govt "Gateway" password and id and Joe's national insurance number. Now you can have the homebirth you always dreamt of (and hopefully avoid a transfer to Nazareth General in the event of failure to progress). Best of luck and do consider an MN live birth thread on the 24th.
Yours, birth buddy, also due 24th...TH

starbear · 18/12/2008 22:21

Oh! that's okay then by the time your 18, he'll be attending primary Technology college. Then you can attend full time education. Have you thought how you are going to support the baby? I'm not happy about pay for you lot in my taxes

MaryBeWaiting · 18/12/2008 22:23

AAG - he is no lightweight, at least he stuck by me - I didn't see you for dust!

MMOC - I assumed the glow was from the star that keeps shining. Do you think I should ask the MW?

Turniphead1 - we could have filled it in online? (faints with shock) - I'm speechless!
