YANBU. I really can't stand Oasis either, I like lots of similar music but there's a smug arrogance about Oasis which I can't bear. Not to mention overuse of the word "sheeine" in their songs which makes me cringe.

Oasis are trying to be like the Beatles, so i guess if Oasis are so great, it is becasue of the Beatles influence in the first place

Stats mean nothing a lot more yoofs go to concerts and are into music these days, and music is better promoted due to advances in tv/radio and of course the internet
