VinegarTits · 19/11/2008 15:18

Blur are making a comeback arnt they? or did i dream that?

TheDevilWearsPrimark · 19/11/2008 15:19

No Blur wouldn't!

I hope.

TheGoat · 19/11/2008 15:19

TheGoat · 19/11/2008 15:25

I don't care if Blur 'come back'.

Their music has more originality than Oasis' hole back (passage) catalogue.

im not going to get into blur oasis stuff, maybe 15 years ago i would have but now i dont need to as through the years has been proven who is better. and i am not a mad fan of oasis i just dont agree with the OP, and i dont think BLUR where that great, a couple of nice songs that is all they have..

MorningTownRide · 19/11/2008 15:39

So complete ambivalence from you littlestar?

Why the posts then?!

littlestar26 · 19/11/2008 15:56

what you mean ambivalence, i think its clear i like oasis better, all im trying to say its that i am not a mad fan who goes to every gig or listens to them all the time..and i do not agree with the tribute band thing and i post whatever and whenever the hell i want thank you very much

TheDevilWearsPrimark · 19/11/2008 16:01

Blur were fab, and are mainly succesful without blur right now so I see no reason fora comeback on financial or career terms. Maybe just for the love of music eh?

Loving that a blur v oasis arguement could happen in 2008.

staffylover · 19/11/2008 22:17

the beatles had the top 5 singles in the USA once. i love both groups but the beatles were and are premier league, oasis struggle near the bottom!

MaryAnnSingleton · 19/11/2008 22:19

oasis are shite

staffylover · 19/11/2008 22:21

A tribute band are:

A group of musicians and singers which exists solely to play the music of a well-known band that has disbanded, or no longer tours. How many songs by the Beatles do Oasis play.

ROLF at 'better than the Beatles by miles'. Clearly someone who wasn't there! (Neither was I, to be fair, but my parents were so I've listened to a LOT of Beatles stuff. Fairly easy to spot the difference between real inventiveness and imitation.)

YABVU old tired unoriginal argement, please think of something new.

oasis and beatles both amazing as for blur, damon albarn is a contemptuous, soft southern up his own arse irritant.

yes oasis have got attitude their most recent dates sold out in under 2 hours, that's the piont they're arroant cos they have a right to be, unlike smarmy pretendy cockney damon

FairLadyRantALot · 19/11/2008 22:43

Is Oasis back in the proper business or something...

Beatles...hm...no not really....
however they were never my favourites...but Beatles....nah....

FairLadyRantALot · 19/11/2008 22:44

Oasis that was...by the way...although, not the greatest Beatles fan neither...lolololol...

Bubble99 · 19/11/2008 22:48

Liam Gallagher does a bad Stars in Their Eyes Lennon.

Their lyrics are shite, too.
