Had to walk hrough them to ge to the tights and they just really irritated me.
I know it's irrational..
is it those stripey cardies with big buttons that 50 yr olds wear because they think it makes them seem 30.
Or the stiched on bits like flowers and embroidered bits all over the place.
Or the waterfall cardies is nasty colours that think they're like jigsaw ten years ago
Or too much brown...
Or tring to make everytig special by saying it's italian or Roma or something when really it's hite...
didn't really have a good look honestly.....

You're all being so snobby. I don't think there's anything wrong with Per Una. We can't all wear Boden...and many of us don't want to!

Can't see it's worth getting upset about tbh. Therefore I think YABU and if I'm in the minority, I don't care!

Liffey · 07/10/2008 18:18

So true. What a roma gyspsy would wear if they won the euro millions

Liffey · 07/10/2008 18:29

ps I'm fairly thick skinned but wearing peruna jeans would embarrass me tbh.

My Mum ALSO has tht stripey cardigan with the massive buttons and she loves it. Wears it to bridge.

4 pages on I'm still laughing at the fat pottery teachers and the granny murray comments.

DumbledoresGirl · 07/10/2008 18:35

Liffey, perhaps you don't have the fantastic legs I have?

I have short but perfectly formed legs! However I don't want to look like a surrey housewive as Peaches Geldof once said. (The only good thing she ever said)

Liffey · 07/10/2008 19:25

Housewife I mean. I wonder what a wive is/?

badgermonkey · 07/10/2008 19:36

Argh, the stripy cardi with the big buttons, as worn by THREE teachers at my school and much admired by others.

I just sit there in my purple tights and patent shoeboots, unadmired, and take comfort in the fact that I am right and they are very wrong.

GentleOtter · 07/10/2008 19:41

The buttons soon fall off

I am a one-woman fashion whirlwind at my school. And I have teal tights for tomorrow!

GentleOtter · 07/10/2008 19:48

at teal tights. If I wore them it would look like I had a 'condition'.

tassisssss · 07/10/2008 19:51

I'm cross because i saw a lovely red cord skirt there the other week and it's vanished from the shop, doesn't appear to be on the website and wasn't in the much bigger PU I visited yesterday.

DumbledoresGirl · 07/10/2008 19:54

I would just like to state that, although a fan of PU, I do not own a big buttoned cardigan from them (in fact, I have no idea what big buttoned cardigan you are referring to!)

I thank you.

PS Liffey, they may be perfectly formed, but short is short and never a good look for jeans!

Liffey · 08/10/2008 17:25

Well ok Dumbledoresgirl, I'll have to get a leg extension
