To be dead jealous of childless couples sometimes? What do you miss?

OK, so did anyone see that article in the Observer the weekend (a response to an agony aunt question I think) which said that childless marriages are much more likely to be happy ones than ones with children in? I think that was childless by choice rather than anything else.

I don't actually accept that this is true, but then I get in a big depression about the things I can't do anymore. My sis has just gone off to Paris for three months to be in a play. I WANT TO DO THAT! I want to fly off to Miami and sunbathe on the beach all day! I want to fly off to New York for the weekend for shopping...! AAAArrrgh....

Anyone else with me or AIBU?

i just count down the years til all those things are possible again- my parents are living the high life now. that will be me in 30 years everything else being equal!!

now, I don't miss anything.

When DS was a baby I missed being able to sleep-in, and being able to phone in sick!

A clean toilet (without pebbledash), clean floors (I hoover every day but still crunch underfoot - amazing how far the crumbs of a single biscuit can travel) and being a size 10 (DH misses that as well)!

I miss not being able to go out sunbathing all day, reading a book with a glass of wine on holiday. Instead of worrying about DS getting burnt or allergy to sun cream. We went camping instead in the rain
I miss having time and space to do hair and makeup before going out.
I miss not being able to go out with just a handbag on a whim.
Staying in bed all day to get rid of the cold or flu
