To be quietly satisfied that the arse that parks every day on the yellow zig zags outside school got a partking ticket today?

As did all of the other twats who park on the normal yellow lines opposite the school screwing up the traffic flow for everyone else?

I felt a quiet glow when the traffic wardens were out in force!

Mumsnut · 22/09/2008 19:21

YABU to be quietly pleased.

You should be LOUDLY pleased.

MadamAnt · 22/09/2008 19:23

For maximum gloatage you should have sneakily removed it from his windscreen, thus guaranteeing him a larger fine.

(This has just happened to me so I'm full of bitterness )

yanbu. I'd pf chorlted too and possibly sniggered.

Freckle · 22/09/2008 19:40

Wish they'd do that at our school. Whenever the wardens turn up they always arrive too early so the twats inconsiderate drivers spot them and park elsewhere. So frustrating.

psychomum5 · 22/09/2008 19:44

YANBU at all.

I think I would have skipped past laughing and pointing

((altho I am in that type of evil mood today))

anniebear · 22/09/2008 19:57

I would have been laughing!!!!!...for a long time

does my head in all the people that have to get so near the school. I have a disabled child and the days that I use the car we dont park right near the school

lizziemun · 22/09/2008 20:05

YANBU.

I got annoyed on the way home this morning some pratt person had parked across both dropped kerbs on the drive into school and blocked the way to the crossing person.

He had the misfortune of telling me to move so he could out of his car. I'm 16wks pg and a bit hormal his door hit dd2 pram. I told him to be like everyone else ang get up earlier to get his child into school before 9.10am as school starts at 8.50am.

LazyLinePainterJane · 22/09/2008 20:10

Ours is on a corner, so they not only park on one side of the road on the yellow lines, they also park on the other side, blocking the way on a corner.

Some cheeky fuckers also come into the school and park ON THE PLAYGROUND!!!

Yanbu and yay for schadenfreude!

Ashantai · 22/09/2008 22:36

Schadenfreude indeed! Usually i'd want traffic wardens to be grilled slowly over a bbq, but in this case, yay!

YANBU
our community police officer has been out ticketing the last few days.
Lovely smug smiles at the people being reprimanded for parking badly as well as illegally.
