Arghhhhh ! Really bugged me the other day . This is in the family changing area , why cant they use the ladies changing room if they only have girls .

My boys come out of their swimming lesson and have to wait whilst the showers are being hogged by these women !

My eldest Ds will now use the mens changing room so he doesn't freeze when getting out of the pool but my youngest will just have to wait !

Rant over - do I need a hard hat ?

YABU. my dd has very long straight fine hair that does need conditioning after it gets wet. or else it will be one giant tangle. 2 in 1's just dont cut it. she needs heavy duty conditioner and a detangle spray after that. and even then untill we got our tangle teaser there were still tears at brushing time.

iof all the mums who think YANBU would like to have a go at detangling dd's hair after swimming with no washing or conditioning feel free. i wish you luck. you will need it

having said that though we share a shower and i mover her away from the shower whilst putting on the shampoo and conditioner if there is anyone waiting.

captain underpants. you are guilty of exactly what you are complaining about. You don't want the bother of showering again at home (even for easy boys hair) so how can you complain about other mums doing exactly the same as you.

Do these kids wash and condition their hair when swimming at school then?

I woulnd't dream of taking shampoo and conditioner to a public pool. If their hair is that long surely they should be wearing a cap for swimming lessons?
