Mrs D

Before I was preggers - I too quite often went for a nap at weekend in the day too. If your tired - why not?

MrsDanversApron, as I stated in a previous post, I have no issue with HSM staying in bed ALL WEEK if she feels like it.

My issue was that she took offense to being told she was being lazy, and THEN told us the circumstances for her being in bed.

Had she put that information in the OP, nobody would have called her lazy, and the thread would have ended happily. But she didn't.

Had she said "sorry, forgot to mention that" when it was pointed out, the thread would have ended happily, but she didn't. Instead, she launched an attack on a poster, calling her "GobCod". Pleasant.

Had she posted the thread in Pregnancy, in all likelihood she would have got tea and sympathy, and the thread would have ended happily, but she didn't. She posted in AIBU.

Are you getting my drift? Nothing to do with pregnancy, all to do with choice of words and place of posting. And IMO attitude.

Vinegartits I have no membership to the GodCod squad, or any other. As I have previously stated, I doubt she even knows that I exist. It makes no odds. If you had posted her words when she did, I would be saying "I agree with Vinegartits..."

VictorianSqualor · 01/09/2008 18:28

Not necessarily a lie, no, but why would you start the thread asking if YABU with all this 'background' if you think it makes it ok without putting it in the OP?

HSM, I'm not envious in the slightest dear. I just think that, based on your OP, you're being lazy.

highschoolmusical · 01/09/2008 18:28

Lou - you are another pregnant lady that is obviously feeling a tad pissed off with your lot. read the thread and you will see I was asked about my health and was just answering it. Are we a bit ???

VS

And it's fab, you are so Get over yourself. BTW how dare you accuse me of lying over 4 dead babies? Nice - hope it does'nt happen to you.

TBH - the poster has done a lot of arguing all day long for someone who is supposed to be knackered.
For what it's worth there's nowt wrong with resting when you're pregnant - obligatory really - but someone looking for peace and relaxation aint gonna find it on AIBU.

Niceychops · 01/09/2008 18:31

VS I have to agree that is way out of line.

VictorianSqualor · 01/09/2008 18:32

HSM, Can you actually read what is being said?

No-one gives a hoot whether you want to stay in bed or not, just that you gave out bits of a story then tried to guilt trip everyone into agreeing with you.

As for me being pregnant and narky, Niceychops was on my antenatal thread so that's obviously bollocks.

VictorianSqualor · 01/09/2008 18:33

DID I SAY YOU LIED?
NO

I SAID YOU TRIED GUILT TRIPPING PEOPLE.

In life there are nice people and there are jealous, nasty minded idots like you.

OP posts:
VictorianSqualor · 01/09/2008 18:34

Ok, so I'm an idiot and you're a lazy slattern that thinks rolling out sob stories is going to get sympathy.

At least we're clear.

lou031205 · 01/09/2008 18:34

My last word on this subject.

Niceychops · 01/09/2008 18:35

VS you did say that it smacked of bullshit. Do you not think that is a pretty harsh thing to say about someone talking about having lost 4 babies? Even if you are having a row?

Niceychops · 01/09/2008 18:36

VS Jesus Christ!

For someone who tells us all we should be breastfeeding you are pretty bloody low on the milk of human kindness!

highschoolmusical · 01/09/2008 18:37

VS

Would'nt expect of the likes of you. You sound like a right lazy slattern yourself.

HSM why not enjoy the rest your dp afforded you rahter than blethering on about it on a aibu thread.
If you thought you were being unreasonable you would have been up and about.
If you had been told to take it easily medically then you would never have thought you were bu....
If you had said "pregnant, told by doctor due to previous miscarriages to take it easy aibu?" none of this would have happened

So no yanbu to be in bed
but imho
yabu in the way this OP was worded and the way you have carried on in the thread.

highschoolmusical · 01/09/2008 19:43

Ronald,

Next time I'll scan my medical records, my vtail stats and what time I last for a pee when posting.

I don't care if you don't like what I have said - don't read it.

Who are you my teacher?

Ronaldinhio · 01/09/2008 19:49
