I have been posting on here for a year or so on and off, but I have never really felt welcome.

No one ever responds to what I write, in fact I have sometimes felt actively ignored.

Now obviously that could be cos I write a load of crap that interests no one

Or it could be that very early on, before I realised how careful you had to be, I had an argument with someone who, it turned out, was a mumsnet superstar.

Am I being paranoid, or do people get unofficialy blacklisted!!

Well, I've got this place all wrong.

A lot of people read the OP and post without reading the many comments-so they ignore everyone. I am on one at the moment where people are saying exactly what has already been said, if only they had looked.

Well I can't say I get ignored, although most of the time it might be preferable ...

I name change regularly so that nobody really knows who I am or who I was.

I am so fabulously self-absorbed that i don't notice if people love me or ignore me!

I used to be such a regular that I attracted my own dedicated Hate Club (sadly, am not exagerating). They would creep out like bedbugs to attack me personally.

Now I post little n change names often, I get ignored mostly but at least I now have some space to blather state my considered thoughts.

I had a humoungous row - HUMOUNGOUS where half of MN ganged up against me over an innocent remark - called me racist. It was hideous.

However, after a sabbatical, I dusted myself off and started posting again. I still don't get as much response as the 'inner circle' but, lots of lovely new people always respond and my PN group are FAB!

I can't work out the point of changing your name. You can't build up a 'relationship' with anyone here if they haven't got a clue who you are, your chat history warts 'n all etc.

Sure there are groups who are 'cliquey', that's life but just post, there are so many people that it really doesn't matter.

Also only twats silly people carry arguments over to other threads.
