To find it worrying what the BBC chooses not to report?

You wouldn't know it, if you got your news from the BBC, that there's been a pro-pal march through London today. 6 marchers were arrested and the Battle of Britain memorial was damaged.
Nothing on the BBC website. Nothing on News at 10.
Is it only me that finds this disturbing?

Not about the BBC but it's disgusting they attacked the Battle of Britain Memorial

I say that as someone who is on the left

For context

Careful calling it a genocide (what it is) because you’ll get your comment reported for anti semitism. It’s clear where mumsnet stands here. (I’ll wait for this to also get deleted)

Really? I’ve seen plenty of comments on here claiming Israel was committing a genocide.
They might get challenged, but not necessarily deleted (unless they also contain personal attacks).

Yup

So the BBC is wholly right leaning. Will somebody let Fiona Armstrong know.

So what's she done?

Sorry I meant the biased Fiona Bruce.

My very own comments were deleted as anti semitism when nothing about Jews was said by me. I have a Jewish grandfather who attends pro Palestine marches in his 80s. The idea that we cannot criticise Israel for fear of being silenced by Zionists is disgusting, anti semitic and scary.

Yanbu.

Yet on the thread about BBC last week posters like me were quizzed on what bbc's supposed "agenda" is...

I said it before I'll say it again

I think the thing that really pisses me off about bbc news is that an era of fake news and fox network&friends that had a huge HUGE opp to be a globally renouned news outlet that set the gold standard in reported news. A trusted, impartial and accurate news source people could go to and sift through the garbage pushed out designed to polarise then monetise societal division.

But noooooo they just couldnt help themselves.... And so they started pushing their agendas via their news.
And now the brand is just fucked and in slow irreparable decline.

Slow hands clap - good job guys.

I could not disagree with this more. The BBC does an excellent job in an era of misinformation and disinformation

I’m not sure I’ve seen your deleted comments, so I obviously can’t comment on why they were removed.

I’d say most people do not equate reasonable criticism of Israel’s government or its policies with antisemitism.

The idea that there is a coordinated campaign by 'Zionists' to silence all critics doesn't hold up if you look at mainstream British media, university campuses and frequent public marches.
