Things you've considered leaving your DP for (lighthearted)

My DP keeps putting the forks back with the spoons. There will even be one spoon left in the slot and he will just chuck the forks on top of them. I go to get a spoon out, I pick up a fork, and I'm ready for a fight. Seriously though if carries on I'm contacting a divorce lawyer because I just don't need this kind of toxic energy in my life.

But what actually is the worst is when I’m rushing around about to leave for work or to go out or whatever, THAT is when he decides he wants to start a detailed conversation about something or other. It’s like, you could have brought this up anytime and you’ve chosen the point when I’ve got to be out the door in 2 minutes?!!

He doesn’t close the front door behind him when he comes home. He’s often back and forth getting his shit out of the car

Fuck is this actually a requirement for being a man??? I've always heard that age old sort-of saying that 'mum always knows where everything is', but I didn't realise that not only is it really, very true, but it also extends to the fact that dad/man never knows where it is, or anything else for that matter. Every single man I have ever known or been with has been like this.

I think it must be yes. Also my experience.

what is more freaky is that my visually acute husband is like this, yet can walk in to a room and tell if an ornament has been moved or something new has appeared (not just our house, any familiar house- like I said - freakish).

Leaving a drawer or door 2cm open
The way he hangs washing - makes no sense - 1 sock with a pj top but the pj bottoms with a towel 😅

Ah yes. Mine doesn’t do that but he doesn’t shake things out before he hangs them so it dries really creased up. We don’t iron so it just end up with a pile of very creased clothes.

I have tried to teach him but he genuinely doesn’t see why it would make a difference. He’s an engineer and let’s not forgot, something of a ‘white paint indecisive’.

he is fine with all the other house jobs. I
married a freak. Love him though.

Literally cant understand how hanging out washing can be so confusing. DH is exactly the same. Half the time the washing looks like its been launched from 10 metres away. He is very practical in every other way so I just dont get why he doesnt understand something being scrunched up wont dry as well as if it was hung up properly. He even scrunches his towel when he hangs it up from having a shower!

His obsession with eggs
Washing his arse in the sink
Empty packets everywhere including in the fridge
His excruciating taste in music

I could go on, good job he's so lovely to me

I’m sorry what. Arse in sink?!

When money was paper not the new plastic notes , DH used to scrunch them up to go in his pocket .
If I used one of his mangled notes the cashier or salestaff used to painstakingly smooth it out while giving me a "You Savage " look .

Contactless and plastic notes have saved his skin.

He might do his bum&bits with a flannel for a washdown rather than easing his buttocks into the sink ?
