I couldn't give a toss about MD and I am not going to read it, but pretty much every celeb out there has an autobiography so I dont see whats so why - worthy about him in particular?!

The publicity around it has brought to my attention that he blamed his throat cancer on giving oral sex, a revelation that led to Catherine Zeta Jones leaving him and needing therapy.

I agree. He's awful and if it was a woman admitting to this she would be called a slag. Michael seems to be boasting about it. I don't know why he feels the need to do this now, especially when he has children.

I remember this being reported a few years back. He blamed his throat cancer on oral sex. I cringed with horror when he announced it to all and sundry.

I agree - Catherine knew all of this before they got together, it was hardly a secret that nobody knew about. Heck, I knew he had slept with all and sundry and had cheated on his wife back in the 90s and I've never even met the man

Celebrities, especially those of his standing, are different to the rest of us. They live different lives and have different marriages. They haven't had an easy few years (decades?) with his health, his DC and her MH. Probably they do need the money.

So it's true. I am not sure why saying this is any more offensive than saying smoking causes lung cancer. Shouldnt people know this so they are informed?

If I was the type of person to read autobiographies of famous folk, I think I would find him a lot more interesting, than the likes of Katie Price, etc.
