Would you be happy if your partner constantly cheated on you? I wouldn't.

My post was 14 words long, how did you manage to miss 7 of them?!

From what I have seen, he doesn't come out of it well. He basically had sex with a lot of women. Yuk!

Are you 12?

Yes but he didn't clarify that he already had HPV before he met her. He just threw it out there and seemed surprised at the reaction.
Says a lot about him.
I say this as someone who had a crush on him since Streets of San Francisco and love most of his fims.
He's a fucking creep.

Yes but he didn't clarify that he already had HPV before he met her.

But why on earth would he?

He just said he got cancer from oral sex. That really doesn't imply anything about any specific partner at all.

I think it would be fucking weird to assume that a man who has married more than once and has been open about having numerous girlfriends has only had oral sex with his current wife, so why on earth would he need to clarify? 'I got throat cancer from oral sex' clearly doesn't mean 'I am blaming my current partner for giving me HPV and cancer'.

I don't find him a particularly likeable or interesting man, but it blows my mind that people would react to the news 'man has horrible and debilitating cancer and mentions one of the lesser-known causes' by thinking 'he is insulting his wife'.

Jeez. I just read my kids health leaflet about gardasil leaflet and it was pretty open about the oral sex thing? And cervical cancer and genital warts? We pretty much all have HPV and these are known mutations of it? (Not sure mutations right word - possible ill effects).

Ayarreet · Today 11:19

Disingenuous of you to suggest it would be unreasonable for a person to feel upset or shamed by their partner saying this, especially without clarification.
His team attempted to clarify by saying he didn't say it (He did, it was on tape) but that his cancer wasn't of the sort caused by HPV!
He said it for shock value, because he is a creep.

We went to see Rhod Gilbert on his first tour following his recovery from head and neck cancer and he also mentioned the link with oral sex and did a funny routine around it. I don’t think anyone took from that that he was blaming his wife.
