AIBU to be deeply concerned about the sheer number of unchecked undocumented unknown men coming into the UK?

This is some dystopian lord of the flies hell. Those poor women. Burned on the boat. Wth. Poor man stabbed to death. Why are the people that did this then going to be roaming free in the UK? Why are they allowed to enter the UK in the first place? Why are gangs not being 'smashed'?

Why won't the government tell us the truth about their crime rates?

Channel chaos as migrant dies, two women burned and one stabbed on same boat

Forty-five of those on board continued towards the UK and were picked up by a British rescue vessel.

The week that the data comes out showing substantial drops in boat crossings, the asylum backlog and hotel use....

We get this. Most of us aren't stupid, OP.

What is linked in the op doesn’t bother you at all?

Smokeywater · 30/08/2026 20:12

Just listened to a talk on YouTube by David Starkey which explains the problem in the U.K. Blair changed the laws to give everyone judicial rights so regardless whether you’re a new immigrant or a lifelong Brit you have the same rights - so you cannot just chuck out illegals (hence lawyers earning a fortune on their behalf) and we can do nothing about it.

Also SEN rights and PIP rights are legal rights so whether it bankrupts the council or the country is irrelevant the law says that people which a tribunal says have these rights the payments etc must be honoured.

Whether net zero gives us the highest electricity costs or not is irrelevant - achieving net zero is enshrined in law so we must achieve it by 2050 ( enacted by T May).

Why HS2 cost billions - protection of nature is enshrined in law now in England so legally Natural England (or whatever they’re called) could demand a £100 million pound bat tunnel for HS2 and that £millions is spent protecting fish from the Sizewell C outflow.

So while this is the case F all can be done , common sense cannot prevail unless the laws are revoked - but with our screaming media and pathetic parliament that is unlikely so immigrants will continue to come and there is nothing anyone can do as they’d be breaking the law

I can’t believe no one has explained this before
My post might not be phrased well but I hope you get the gist

Of course it's upsetting. But overall things have improved, and therefore the timing of yet another of these threads is suspicious. No, we aren't doomed. However much you and yours might wish it to be otherwise.

‘You and yours’ just not staunchly pro Labour then.

The timing of the thread is because what happened is recent. Ik pro Labour want to only hear their policies are having press release effects but it’s not the case.

The boats are rammed, dangerous and becoming more so.

My heart goes out to those women and girls in Rotherham. And yes, there was an outcry but as someone who has worked with vulnerable young people for some decades now, I can tell there has been numerous Rotherhams. In most of the situations I've come across victimology was more relevant than perpetrator demographics. Because the young people didn't fit the picture perfect victim stereotype their experiences were dismissed and perpetrators were free to harm. There's a crap load to fix, always has been and always will be until focus goes on the right things.

85% 90% of violent crime towards women is perpetrated by someone known to the victim. As women we are rightly attuned to stranger danger but statistically strangers only account for a very small number of VAWG perpetrators. If anything, and assuming these men are as dangerous as your average man, it is Muslim women who have these Muslim men in their circles who are at far greater risk than you or I.

Ssshhh!!

They only care about victims when the perpetrators have brown skin.

They don’t care that the victims were failed long before the Asian grooming gangs got to them, they don’t care that a large percentage of these girls had already been the victims of sexual abuse at the hands of other men.

They don’t care about the statistics and factual data of how if you’re raped or sexually assaulted it is 90% likely to be a person you already know and 90% likely in a place that you feel safe.

If you dare talk about the dangers of non brown men, you must not care about women or girls and want to be raped or your daughter to be raped.

They don’t care about truths.
That’s why the thread was starting from a report based on false information.
The French authorities have not said anything about anyone being stabbed or having stab wounds, so the entire thread is redundant.

Overall things haven't improved for the 3 villages where those moved out the hotels will be sent to big asylum camps. Communities being used as collateral damage so the government can say they are closing asylum hotels.

But the numbers are dropping. None of you want to acknowledge this, and I wonder why. Nothing to do with parry politics, it's about accepting facts.

We don't call everyone names either, who we don't agree with. I do like a nice chilled sauvignon wine 🍸

Sav34 · 30/08/2026 20:26

So if domestic white British people commit horrific SA we should allow men in from even worse nations?

Stop these men coming in you at least don't actively add to the problem? You at least reduce some stranger attacks (because I assume no women would get romantically involved with these men.)

And yet the claims backlog is substantially down as well... Once a claim is granted, asylum seekers don't need to be in camps or hotels. Yet nobody has mentioned that. Is there still a problem? Hell yes .Is progress being made? Also yes. But all we get on these threads is doom, woe, invasion. A little nuance wouldn't go amiss.

Apparently so and sometimes they get amplified on here which is lucky for them.

It is very irresponsible for the people hurt on this boat to do that in the same week when all is looking good. Someone might talk about that.

The Rape Gang Inquiry Report · June 2026

250,000+ victims. 149 districts.

Decades of failure.

There we have it.

I am out now, as I don't feel comfortable participating in a thread started to push Restore's agenda and flog its very dodgy (and probably Musk backed)"report". I now understand why CoventryCity has started so many threads on this issue, including those deleted by mnhq.

You understand nothing. I have zero to do with Restore or Reform, not my bag.
I do support women and girls though. And the report isn't dodgy. I understand it suites your mental model to think it is. C'est la vie.

Where do you think they go once they are granted asylum?

I genuinely wonder.

They won’t have the funds to rent privately, so where do they find accommodation?
