AIBU to be deeply concerned about the sheer number of unchecked undocumented unknown men coming into the UK?

This is some dystopian lord of the flies hell. Those poor women. Burned on the boat. Wth. Poor man stabbed to death. Why are the people that did this then going to be roaming free in the UK? Why are they allowed to enter the UK in the first place? Why are gangs not being 'smashed'?

Why won't the government tell us the truth about their crime rates?

Channel chaos as migrant dies, two women burned and one stabbed on same boat

Forty-five of those on board continued towards the UK and were picked up by a British rescue vessel.

You are worried that so many people are worried about women and girls being at a higher risk of being raped, due to mass uncontrolled immigration of unknown undocumented males?

Jesus. I'm not sure what to say. Beyond belief. You could be male I suppose.

Way to misread my entire post!

Yet they are so worried about their daughters they vote for the likes of reform and restore who have such a horrendous track record and who have policy proposals that will make things so much worse for woman.

it does worry me that so many are hyper focused on this issue and can’t see the bigger picture

Who is the ‘they’ in this post? The women discussing the issue below?

No. If that's not what you meant - you need to improve your writing skills.

Think it’s your comprehension skills faulty.

anyone who votes for reform or restore is not concerned at all about women’s rights. It’s that simple! Look at their members, look at their policies. If they get power life will not get better for any women.

Sure..

Who was talking about reform or restore (except you)? I certainly wasn't.

A lot of Afghan men worked with British forces, acting as interpretors and putting themselves and their families in harm's way. Now that the allied forces have all left and the Taliban are back in charge, they are in great danger. No wonder they risk their lives to get to a country that actually owes them a debt of gratitude.

I really don’t understand this is being framed as helping the British Army out.

Surely they did it for their own country, for a better life of their wives and children? To get rid of the Taliban?

You’ve got this the wrong way round.

There was one who helped the US forces and then he went and shot the guardsmen

Yes, it’s the Reform and Restore politicians who are out and about, sexually abusing, raping and murdering people.

Just to reiterate before I’m accused of being a bot; I would vote for neither party (but I respect and can understand people who do).

I mean ffs.

Also, there is literally NO BIGGER PICTURE than Europe being changed beyond all recognition.

Because this is where we’re headed.

That's actually a completely separate scheme. The Afghan Resettlement Scheme or something similar. One of the few groups who can apply for asylum from abroad. Quite rightly too.

Erm yes it is?!

Multiple reform politicians have been accused of some form of sexual abuse.

They also have a higher number of male supporters due to their often misogynistic views.

We also know that many of the supporters have had convictions of abuse in some form.

Say what you want about immigration but reform/restore are definitely not parties that care about women and girls rights.

I’d like a change in the immigration system without parties like that being in charge as that would be awful for us all.

Maybe the landlord (prince willy) could make some repairs.

They have been doing repairs for the past 2 years at least.

The MOJ is paying millions every year for its upkeep and it was only a couple of months ago did Prince William (his people) say they could stop.

The prisons are massively overcrowded and they’re trying to get it back up to scratch but the trouble is now it has been deemed unsafe they are going to have a massive lawsuit on their hands if they reopen it too soon (many prisoners and staff are already getting legal support).
As radon is naturally occurring then it’s never going to be zero.

They need to get it reopen asap to deal with the prisoner crisis but I can’t see it happening anytime soon.

Well, I can only say (after a couple of glasses of Sauvignon Blanc) that there is a lot of truly decent people, not just in this country, but also on this site.

And we’re not all knuckle dragging racists, but educated women who are simply concerned.

We don't call everyone names either, who we don't agree with. I do like a nice chilled sauvignon wine 🍸

Yes but we are trying aent we look at the out cry over Rotherham etc and the other cars where women have been killed or abused
But how many more can we take when frankly we do not need too ? We are putting ourselves at even more risk into an already over loaded system

My heart goes out to those women and girls in Rotherham. And yes, there was an outcry but as someone who has worked with vulnerable young people for some decades now, I can tell there has been numerous Rotherhams. In most of the situations I've come across victimology was more relevant than perpetrator demographics. Because the young people didn't fit the picture perfect victim stereotype their experiences were dismissed and perpetrators were free to harm. There's a crap load to fix, always has been and always will be until focus goes on the right things.

85% 90% of violent crime towards women is perpetrated by someone known to the victim. As women we are rightly attuned to stranger danger but statistically strangers only account for a very small number of VAWG perpetrators. If anything, and assuming these men are as dangerous as your average man, it is Muslim women who have these Muslim men in their circles who are at far greater risk than you or I.

Those Pakistani muslim men in the grooming gangs seemed to be more interested in raping young white girls.

I’m afraid you are right. The country’s standards and culture won’t be leveled up, it will get leveled down.
Gated communities will be the future, for those who can afford it.
It’s some way off, but will be in a young person’s lifetime. We will end up like South America, with bars on every window of our houses.
