This is some dystopian lord of the flies hell. Those poor women. Burned on the boat. Wth. Poor man stabbed to death. Why are the people that did this then going to be roaming free in the UK? Why are they allowed to enter the UK in the first place? Why are gangs not being 'smashed'?

I know some tenants are woefully bad but let's face it mould and poor housing esp social housing is a massive issue in the UK
.we can't build for rain and damp and windows open etc .
So I don't think it's fair to blame all bad housing on poor tenants

Yes people die all of the time on these crossings and in migrant camps, the conditions are awful. That is common knowledge.

I don’t understand. Do you know what an algorithm is? It’s a restriction. It means you get shown more and more of the stuff you already clicked on. Banning the use of algorithms would give you more information from more varied sources, not less. You would have access to a broader range of opinions. How is that authoritarian?

Jeez. More utter bollocks. If it is the tenants trashing the housing stock, why is the government passing laws to force social housing landlords to make their properties fit for human habitation? To ensure children don't die?

b. when it comes to social housing both HAs and contractors knew they were onto a winner HAs got funding Contractors got ££££££
they could pump cavity wall insulation into homes whether they were suitable for it or not knowing full well they could get away with blaming any ensuing mould on tenants knowing that would be accepted by the public because of the attitudes to SH tenants in the UK
I know a local tenant who had no problem with his bungalow until cavity wall insulation. Now its like a furnace in the summer and starting to get mould HA told him he had to have it done

The problem with fruit picking, cauli cutting, tattie lifting and sprout pulling is that it's seasonal and also can be labour intensive.
And yes, you live-in in caravans.(Unless you live in the area and can travel to the site.
