This is some dystopian lord of the flies hell. Those poor women. Burned on the boat. Wth. Poor man stabbed to death. Why are the people that did this then going to be roaming free in the UK? Why are they allowed to enter the UK in the first place? Why are gangs not being 'smashed'?

Why won't the government tell us the truth about their crime rates?

Channel chaos as migrant dies, two women burned and one stabbed on same boat

Forty-five of those on board continued towards the UK and were picked up by a British rescue vessel.

Ah. The bigotry of your post explains your denial of the racism people faced.

I can't remember what was in that post that was deleted but I lived in Liverpool in the 60's and was just talking about that.

When your fleeing from scorching hot third world countries with no social care system at all no docs no money for anything of course anything they get here is incredible we enjoy even in the basics a far higher standard of living dont we!
Proper beds off the ground /mattress /pillows proper loos and washing facilities , electricty and kettles and fridges ! All luxuries we take for granted

Have you seen the state of some social housing?

If you look at Starmers legacy, he really tightened up immigration policy. He reduced student visas, he made changes to ILR, stopped anyone who was trafficked here from gaining British citizenship and massively reduced small boats crossing. Unfortunately the right wing are too stupid to recognise this.

Keir Starmer didn't massively reduce small boat crossings. Numbers soared under Labour and when Starmer was got rid of, they were starting to come down but remain nowhere close to 2023 levels. Starmer claimed he was going to 'smash the gangs' but failed to do anything - another part of his disastrous, but thankfully extremely short, legacy

If it's in bad state then that's because the tenants trash it.

I cannot believe seemingly educated women on here are still bleating on about the fact that it's men, not just Muslim men.

Get out of stow on the wold or whichever Home Counties you come from and go to:

Stoneyholme in Nelson
Colne road in Burnley
Bradford.

Then come tell me if you think we should be inclusive.

I don’t think anyone has bleated on about Muslim men or non-muslim men but if we’re going to come up with a solution to the immigration problem, then we need to be factual and not spread false information or scaremonger.

We know that less than 1/4 of prisoners are Muslim.

We know that if you are raped or attacked there is 90% chance of you already knowing the perpetrator.

We know that if you are raped or attacked there is a 90% chance of it happening in a place where you once felt safe (home, friends, work etc).

Considering people are less likely to report someone they know, these figures are actually likely to be even higher.

Less than 10% of all rapes and SA cases are random strangers on the street or in dark alleyways etc.

So your chances of being raped by a Muslim man is 90% dependent on who you know.

White, British males have a way higher rate of sexual offences (obviously) and so it is disingenuous and not helpful to claim that muslim men are the problem.

Also Reform "all social housing tenants are scum"

We see you.

@Catza ”According to the government figures, nearly 300k people were returned under the Dublin agreement between 2010 and 2015.”

Errrrr? Excuse me?
Between 2010 and 2015, the UK transferred 3,307 people out of the country to other European nations under the Dublin Regulation (excluding 2011, for which official UK outgoing data was incomplete/not published).

So basically 1% of the number you have stated.

Thats from the UK Parliament portal.
https://publications.parliament.uk/pa/ld201719/ldselect/ldeucom/428/42806.htm

Apologies, I may have misread the figures or used an unvetted source. I withdraw that part of my comment.

What's the percentage of male illegal immigrants who commit crime?

Why are you defending these men?

No one should be allowed into any country, undocumented. But politicians have not had or got the gumption to deal with it. 🙄

Such a lot of effort to keep the propaganda going. Strange that 🤔

It's a sexist issue.

We are letting gangs of young, single men of a different religion into our country and they are then attacking and raping women and getting away with it.

I'll also leave Rotherham on the table.

There's a theme here.

Of course it is. It always is. We live in a patriarchy after all. Same with TWAW bollcks. Same with this men, basically. Misogynistic sexist issue. All of it. Men just couldn't give a flying fck. That's why their female helpers are utterly in explicable. Usual left wing crap tho.

I’m not defending anyone, just giving you factual information - surely everyone would want factual information???

Why are you defending the other men that commit rapes and sexual abuse??

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 30/08/2026 16:25

I believe it is also true to say that, taken as a group, migrants to the UK are net contributors to the country’s finances - ie. they pay more into the system than they take out.

Plus many of them are doing the jobs that many UK residents do not seem to want to do - low paid jobs in care, fruit and vegetable harvesting, labouring etc. If all migration to the UK was stopped overnight, does anyone think that unemployed British people will be queuing up to care for incontinent elderly people? I doubt it.

Walkden · 30/08/2026 15:23

"The Dublin agreement didn’t work
Transfers of asylum seekers from the UK to France under the Dublin Regulation:"

Yes but by the same token the whole idea of Rwanda was that once people knew you could be transferred there it would be a deterrent that would reduce overall immigration.

It's a bit contradictory to say that Rwanda as a symbolic deterrent was worth it but knowing you could be sent back to France as a symbolic deterrent was pointless

The DA hasn’t been a deterrent anywhere. If you think it has say which EU country has used it as such,

And then look at countries which use deterrents and see how they work.

Plus the crimes here. I agree with you, nonsense.

It depends a great deal what you mean by 'migrants'?
If you are talking about those that have come legally, have a job waiting, can speak English to a reasonable standard, respect our laws and our culture and pay tax, then I, and I expect many others don't have a problem.
If you are talking about someone who just rocks up on a boat and expects the red carpet laid out for them - not so much.

Not aimed at you personally @SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius This is what ive posted elsewhere i just cant be bothered to redact bits

Also MN "why cant brits do the LIVE IN fruit picking jobs We have to have people come from other countries to do the jobs Brits wont do!
Posted this on another thread
"a. Fruit picking veg picking etc a lot of which is LIVE IN work. If you rent social housing you have to actually fucking well live there. You are not allowed to live away from home for the length of time these employers want you to. If you want that you will need to give SH tenants more rights! But that would also mean giving them more rights to leave their home for other reasons Up for that are we? Dont bother cos i know the answer to that already.
b. Gas safety checks fire door checks electric checks Surveys My tenancy agreement says i have to be home for these and no i cant get a friend or neighbour to do it for me.
c. the hatred there is for SH tenants ensures that some busybody would probably report the flat as abandoned if a tenant were to risk their tenancy by taking this job.
d. i have mentioned SH tenants because they will be the most likely group expected to take these jobs yet their hands are tied and they cant And even if they wont perhaps they want a life after the working day (just like home owners have You know the ones who arent expected to do these jobs instead of sharing a berth with a stranger"
I SWEAR TO GOD IM GOING TO GET THIS FUCKING LAMINATED. isnt it funny how the social housing haters froth like fuck when tenants break a tenancy agreement for any other reason but want them to break their tenancy agreements for bloody fruit picking and repair and fix stuff that their tenancy agreement tells them not to touch STINKING HYPOCRISY
