AIBU to think if we need to politely ask men not to rape women (or men), then we don't want such people in the UK? PART 2

'Don't rape, sexually assault or make kissing noises' at people, asylum seekers warned in guidance about living in UK

UK arrivals have been told to treat women equally, not sexually assault partners or have sex with children in a new Home Office pamphlet. As well as the guidebook, a series of posters have also been designed by the government.'

Nationalists, Nazis, what next on the list of insults to those of us women that won't get in line, I wonder..

Nationalist isn’t an insult. If I wanted to insult, I’d have said Jingoistic.

SomethingHasGotToBeDoneAboutYourKids · 24/08/2026 17:22

Exactly. As the data proves to be the case, aside from basic logic.

Men of Chinese ethnicity in the UK, for example, pose a demonstrably lower risk of being rapists than white British men based on the CPS’s own data. Each man of other specific ethnicities poses a very statistically significant higher risk on average; in some cases ten times higher.

This isn’t about race. It’s about culture.

The data doesn’t prove it. I don’t know what you are calling logic, but thinking your immigration status affects your likelihood to rape is not logical.

The CPS data is not being properly analysed statistically.

This is a great analogy.

Similar analogy could be made in choosing finding a male to date/live with/marry/have kids with. But women still choose to take the risk, eat the chocolates and hope they won't end up one of the two women per week murdered by partners or ex-partners.

I am all for doing as much as can ve done to make sure we don't let in violent men who pose a risk, but the risk can never be fully eliminated.

I give up. This is a country that doesn’t teach maths beyond age 16, and hardly anyone ever takes even a basic course in statistics. Most people just don’t have the education to understand bad statistics from good statistics. Most people didn’t even notice that Reform keeps proposing figures that have no relation to reality unless they are writing down darts board scores and sticking the odd £ and 0 on there.

NullaEffugium · 24/08/2026 17:33

I am going to eat my tea and despair over the level of mathematical illiteracy that is driving our country into utter ruin on all levels.

It is all about racism and ignorance. On thread 1, I mentioned that per capita stats of populations in the thousands cannot be accurately directly compared to per capita stats of populations in the millions. So the claim that nationalities are more likely to be rapists is certainly unproven and not likely to be true.

The fact we hand out leaflets to incoming refugees that match what we teach our children about consent and illegal sexual behaviours in sex education isn’t a reaction to them being likely to sexually assault any more than we think our children will.

Yes it is different for some where they come from, but I am sick of the slagging off about Afghans. The regime ruling in Afghanistan is not representative of Afghan culture. When ISIS fell, thousands of their commanders fled Iraq to Afghanistan, joined the Taliban and then proceeded to purge and radicalise the Taliban into ISIS 2.0 and take over Afghanistan. They succeeded and no one cares because if we admitted that the leaders of the Taliban are all former ISIS we’d not be able to claim victory over ISIS.

The Afghans fleeing Afghanistan are fleeing precisely because they are under the thumb of ISIS 2.0.

Not that the Taliban were that nice to begin with towards women, but they were not as extreme years ago and were even considered moderate enough to be our allies fighting against Al-Qaeda and ISIS.

Nope. Provided there is a sufficient number of people of that ethnicity in the UK population as a whole for the sample population size to be sufficient to sample for statistically significant results then the results of that analysis are statistically valie, particularly given the extremely large variances in offending rates that this analysis reveals which are far beyond the bounds of random chance (ten times as high for some groups as for others).

If anything your attempted argument (although mathematically wrong) supports the need for more data, and more granular data, to be released, not less: for example, data on crime rates for every crime by nationality and ethnicity, and no more of this “not recorded” nonsense.

Therefore, I presume you have written to the MOJ and the ICO stating that you support the latter’s order for the former to release the crime statistics by nationality? And to your MP?

After all, how can a democracy function without us being allowed access to the data which we pay out public institutions to collect on our behalf so that the electorate can make informed voting choices?

Not to mention the fact that in countries that do not try to repress this data (Denmark, Germany, and others) it demonstrates unequivocally the exact same thing: the men from certain cultures pose a far higher risk on average to women and children than others.

Why do you think a very socially liberal country like Denmark has introduced very stringent immigration policies?

It is because they have seen the data and are protecting their society and citizens, and because the public there has access to the more granular data the need to do so became undeniable by disingenuous people like many of those who have posted on these threads who try to deny the reality of objective, statistical data and pretend “all men pose the same level of risk”. It has been evidenced beyond any doubt that this is not the case.

Avoidable trauma, harm, abuse, rape and murder of women and children in Europe due to imported cultures that have no respect for our rights or laws is unacceptable and however you choose to try to circumvent the evidenced facts I think that game is up now.

I’m not from this country originally and I would say I’ve had a pretty decent education, thanks.

I also have eyes and I can see what is happening both over here and in my home country when I go back to visit.

Gang Rapes in Germany—Migrants Are Main Perpetrators

Germany recorded 751 gang rapes in 2025 and the majority of the offenders were foreigners, according to figures released by the federal government

The statistics identified 1,083 suspects in connection with the recorded gang rapes. Of these, 53% were non-German nationals—among them 110 Syrians, 64 Afghans, 46 Iraqis, and 44 Turks. The rest of the perpetrators held German citizenship, but the data doesn’t say whether they are of a migrant background.

In 2025, police recorded 726 cases of rape, sexual coercion, and aggravated sexual assault involving Syrian nationals, compared with 24 such cases in 2013. Cases involving victims under the age of 18 also increased dramatically during the same period—from four in 2013 to 279 in 2025.

Gang Rapes in Germany—Migrants Are Main Perpetrators

The release of 2025 crime statistics has coincided with an expanding police investigation into a migrant grooming network in Nuremberg.

But it's being done deliberately

By whom and why, though?

To remove our power. We used to be global leaders. We used to have a functioning economy. We used to have a reasonably educated population. We used to have nice architecture and clean public spaces. We used to eat proper food. Now we have a degraded country with high youth unemployment, filth and litter everywhere, questionable educational standards, everything is monetised, ugly buildings, slop on tv, drug addiction is mainstream, food which is making us ill, family breakdown, porn obsessed men, young people who can't string a sentence together or answer the phone. (Disclaimer: not everyone, but enough).

Whoever's doing it has done a good job. The UK is unrecognisable. It always was a bit idiosyncratic with some questionable standards and certainly wasn't perfect, but it's a pile of crap now. It's like Idiocracy. A country will reflect its inhabitants so it can only get worse.

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/world-news/2025/01/18/nearly-two-thirds-convicted-rapists-sweden-migrants/

Nearly two thirds of convicted rapists in Sweden are migrants or second generation immigrants

Researchers at Lund University found that 63 per cent of convictions for rape or attempted rape were handed down to people born abroad, or whose parents were born abroad.

The study examined 4,000 convictions between 2000 and 2024 and also suggested that the longer a foreigner lived in Sweden, the less likely they were to commit rape.

It comes as the Swedish government adopts a significantly tougher stance on migration

What on Earth?

I work in finance, am an economist and also a qualified chartered accountant. I think I understand data and statistical analysis and maths, thank you.

I am also not a “Reform voter”. I hate slimy Farage and want us to fix the major problems with the UK so he DOESN’T get anywhere near to being PM as that would be disastrous. I am very socially liberal but a realist about economics so currently politically homeless. And I have a functioning brain so obviously voted against Brexit.

Your attempts to portray other people as stupid/ ignorant/ innumerate/ illiberal because they don’t support an influx of men to the country who pose unacceptably high risks to women and children is absurd.

Frankly anybody who isn’t concerned about this is innumerate and also not liberal because the precise things that are necessary for a liberal democratic society to function are at least some social cohesion and shared values, respect for the rule of law, safety for all citizens to participate in society without excessive fear of attack, and transparent data provided by our Government so that we can make informed voting decisions. A socially liberal society where we all have freedom curtailed only to the extent that we don’t actively harm our fellow citizens can only exist if the vast majority of people in that society understand, support and uphold through their behaviour this obvious fact.

Source? Everything I read about Saudi Arabia is that they have been welcoming refugees from Afghanistan, Syria, Yemen, Eritrea, Lebanon, Ukraine and Palestine for decades. They are not signatories to the UN Refugee convention and so do not refugees separately. They are counted as regular foreign workers, except for very few that apply via the UNHCR offices.

Yes but they're given work permits so de facto treated like all the other foreign workers. And it's strict there, there would be no scope for hanging around aimlessly in groups and pestering women. No legal block to yeeting them out the country if they misbehave either.

Okay so why are 53% of gang rapes in Germany carried out predominantly by four nationalities? Syrian, Afghani, Iraqi and Turkish? Pretty sure together they don't constitute 53% of men in Germany.

Their other statastic says that Afghan men are 16x more likely to rape than German men.

They aren’t. That’s a fake statistic. Took two seconds to google it.

You know after they adjusted (like you should when doing proper stats analysis) the figures to account for the fact more than 50% of immigrants are men and then by age, there was no difference in likelihood?

Why are you ignoring the fact that there are statistics collated in other European countries that say the very thing you're claiming is just racism?

And why wouldn't rates of sexual offending, and attitudes to women, differ from country to country? It would be weirder if they didn't.
Or do you think every single woman who has posted on a thread about street harrassment and groping in Egypt, or Morocco, or Turkey, or India, is a racist liar?
